The procedures were relatively simple, and the staff didn't ask too many questions. They just briefly checked the insurance document before handing over the car. However, the car model was different from what was reserved. Auckland Avis seems to have quite a few Hyundai vehicles.

The staff in New Zealand were very friendly when I picked up the car and quickly completed the rental process for me. Returning the car was also very fast and convenient—just handed the keys directly to the staff at the store. The staff thoughtfully arranged a car to take me to the airport. This trip was very enjoyable.

Overall very convenient. Located near the domestic terminal exit, the pick-up and drop-off process was quick and easy, taking only a few minutes. The return procedure only required a quick inspection. The car was relatively new with approximately 2,000 kilometers on the mileage.

Decent people, but I guess you get what you pay for. Quite old car. 165K on the clock. Was actually younger than the first one they offered us. 3 different brands of tyres on, all quite worn. No car guide or manual.

Overall, quite satisfied. Although the car has over 130,000 kilometers on the odometer, all its functions work perfectly. There are many signs of use on the car body, including stone chips and some light surface scratches. Just make sure to take photos for evidence when picking up the car.

Pick-up and drop-off were very straightforward. There was no pressure to purchase insurance, and I only paid 10 NZD for a toll pass, which is useful as some roads charge tolls. With the pass, you don't have to pay manually. This is quite essential. Additionally, in New Zealand, many parking lots require you to immediately input your vehicle information at a payment machine or via an app after parking. Do not wait until you're leaving, as even during free time periods, you may be fined.

The rental store is located at Auckland's Old Railway Station, which is very easy to find with navigation. It's about a 10-minute walk from the CBD. The staff at the store were friendly and provided clear instructions.

It was a very pleasant car rental experience. After landing at the airport, the directions to the pickup point for the car rental company were a bit unclear, so we ended up asking for directions to find it. The service was decent, but the car was too old and lacked power. However, it was very fuel-efficient. Various warning lights kept flashing during the trip, and it was impossible to reach the rental company after their closing hours. QEEQ provided great service and quickly helped us get in touch. The rental company responded saying there's no issue and not to worry about the warning lights; just keep driving as usual. Anyway, we managed to drive for three days, covering nearly 1000 kilometers, and refueled twice, costing about 200 dollars.

The car was fine , not pristine but I was happy with that Thehand over was very rushed as staff wanted to leave for night . A few things were slightly tricky , no manual provided couldn't get bonnet to open to refil washer fluid Had trouble finding fuel cap cover lever first time Was a bit concerned as a solo female dropped her car off just before closing and a large family with young kids also and were told no shuttle available and they were closed. Foreign travellers and left high and dry with no ability or numbers to call for taxi etc and staff not interested to help. I also had trouble with pick up from airport as my flight in was a little late but luckily they did or I would have been scuppered. Im senior and NOT a techy person and had only data on my phone !!!. The shuttle driver was very helpful for me nut not for the other customers. I felt really sorry for them as the actual place is quite far from airport , on an Industrial estate and relatively isolated from public routes etc

We randomly received ford focus. We expected too much but got disappointed. There was a prompting reminder that the car needed a maintenance. We felt it because even we were just 2 riding the car, it was difficult to drive. It felt like we have heavy luggages inside. The aircon is not working working not unless you turn the fan to level 4. This must have not been the case if they were maintaining their cars properly.

The Jucy staff were friendly and helpful in organising to get the car after hours (due to delay at the airport). Pickup was really efficient. There were 2 downsides: (1) the car itself: it was a bit old and the air-conditioning didn't work. (2) the after hours drop off and keybox location wasn't clear.

The address and phone no. shown on the map is wrong. We couldn’t contact the car rental company with phone then we walked there. However, the office has moved to another place which we couldn’t reached there easily. TERRIBLE. The staff there is good but only one staff is not enough to serve all the customers at the same time. So, we spent some time in picking up the car and even drop off. The car condition is good. Nice!

!!!!!Poor service from hire car company. Car had old bottles and other customers paperwork (from May 2019) in it. Was supposed to be full to full but wasn't. Phone charger didn't work. Satnav was in Japanese (for japan) but couldn't be switched off so had a running Japanese dialogue. But worst was that the renter announced as we left that he would not be there on the day we drop it off, so we had to arrange our own taxi (at our expense) to the airport! It was not clear where to leave the key, I still haven't had confirmation that all was ok (despite leaving a note and emailing them) and not be able to confirm that our deposit would be refunded. We were supposed to be using the same company (spicy cars) when we come back to the north island but plan to cancel.... poor service.

Car had 151,000 miles on it. Too many dents/scratches/scrapes/stain to document. Radio didn't work well, needed new windshield wiper blades, it smelled very musty/damp. It didn't break down during our three week rental so that is good.

On the day of returning the car, we were in a rush to catch a flight. The owner said we had to return the car to another location and cover a $40 NZD fee. There was heavy traffic, and we arrived at their office at 8:45. The owner wasn't back yet and said they opened at 9. I was a bit frustrated, but eventually, the owner went out of his way to find a nearby repair shop's Indian worker who drove us to the airport. We managed to check in on time, and we were grateful for that.
