The Apex - Auckland Airport car rental location is located out of the airport

Please contact the staff to pick you up to Apex - Auckland Airport car rental when you arrived.

International Terminal： After collecting your luggage, please do the following: a.Please click on the “Ready to Collect” button on the email we’ve sent you. b.Phone our office toll free on 0800 935 050 (or +64 9 873 4395) and advise you are ready for an Apex shuttle pick-up. Apex shuttle pick-ups at Auckland Airport’s International Terminal are from the Transport Pick-up Zone, a short, covered walk from the terminal. Exit the terminal via DOOR 8 located in the Arrivals hall. The covered walkway begins directly opposite the international arrivals area with clear signage to guide you to the Transport Pick-up Zone. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. When the van arrives, please load your own bags into the back of the shuttle van or trailer. Our rental location is a 10 minute drive from the Auckland Airport International Terminal (this may vary depending on traffic conditions at the time). Domestic Terminal： After collecting your luggage, please do the following: Please click on the “Ready to Collect” button on the email we’ve sent you OR Phone our office toll free on 0800 935 050 (or +64 9 873 4395) and advise you are ready for an Apex shuttle pick-up. Proceed through the exit DOOR 8, which is located at the JETSTAR CHECK IN end of the terminal. Use the pedestrian crossing on the far left of the terminal and go to the OFF AIRPORT PICK UP point to wait for our van. If you are unsure where the OFF AIRPORT PICK UP point is located, please ask the information desk for assistance. When the van arrives, the driver will load your luggage into the back of the van or into a trailer. Our rental location is 10 minutes’ drive from the Auckland Domestic Terminal (this may vary depending on traffic conditions at the time).

Drop-off Instructions

Vehicle needs to be returned to our Auckland Airport branch at 46 Verissimo Drive, Mangere, Auckland. We provide a free shuttle service to take you to the Airport terminals.

Smooth pick up and drop off. Friendly staff - tried to upsell insurance as expected. Car was in quite poor condition exteriorly - lots of scratches and several chips on the windscreen which we did raise there and then and staff assured us this was all noted and would be accounted for at the end. They take pictures and email them to you to confirm appearance of vehicle at collection, we were quite alarmed when we got these through to our email several hours later as they in no way represented the extent of the scratches and chips present (thankfully we took our own extensive pictures). We called the company who were quite reassuring about the situation. At drop off we were whisked away almost instantly at Wellington Airport - very efficient. They did release all of our deposit so seems they are perhaps more laid back than other rental companies we've dealt with in the past! The extra insurance would have been around 90 NZD so perhaps we could have saved ourselves the anxiety of wondering if our 2000 dollars was safe by paying that.

Super legit rental company with zero hidden fees. I bought full coverage on QEEQ and there was absolutely no hard selling when picking up the car. When we returned it, they didn’t even fuss about inspecting the vehicle, and the lady there even drove us to the cable car station. The car was in great condition, really spacious, the trunk easily fit five 28-inch suitcases with room to spare, and the second row comfortably seated three adults. The windows were huge, almost like a panoramic view. Loved it—perfect car for our road trip across the North Island.
