You can arrive of Mint Rentals - Auckland Airport car rental by free shuttle bus.

After collecting your luggage, please call our office at. For Auckland International Airport Arrivals, once you have arrived and cleared customs, walk towards the Off-Site Transfer Shuttle area via outside door 8. It is a 5-6 minute walk; please follow the signs for Off Site Transfer and wait in Lane 5 for shuttle pickup. For Auckland Domestic Airport Terminal Pickup, exit through door 8 near Jetstar arrivals. Cross the pedestrian crossing to the far lane. Our driver will meet you in the off-airport pick-up area; look for a van with 'Flyaway' on it. During Business Hours (8am – 4:59pm), please call Mint Rentals Office at freephone 0800 842424 or +64 9 930 8271 for free shuttle service. Outside Business Hours (5pm – 7:59am), please contact Flyaway Parking located at 3 Verissimo Drive, Māngere, Auckland 2022. Phone: 0800 776 699 or 021 431 822. This service applies for after-hour pickups.

Drop-off Instructions

Returning your rental car is easy. Please return the car during business hours (Monday to Sunday, 8am-4:59pm) at 103 Westney Road, Mangere, Auckland. Arrive at least 4 hours before international flights and 2 hours for domestic flights. Make sure the fuel level is the same as when you picked it up to avoid a NZD$10 fee. Nearby petrol stations are Waitomo on Richard Pearce Drive and Mobil on Massey Road. Ensure the vehicle is clean and all personal items are removed. Hand over the keys to our staff, who will perform a 5-minute inspection to confirm the vehicle's condition matches its state at pickup. Our free shuttle will take you to the airport; please allow 15-20 minutes for this trip. The last shuttle leaves at 4:59pm. For after-hours drop-offs (Monday to Sunday, 5:00pm-7:59am), please go to Flyaway Parking located at 3 Verissimo Drive, Māngere, Auckland 2022. Phone: 0800 776 699 or 021 431 822; a NZD$45 service charge applies. Please arrange these services at least 24 hours in advance or when booking.

Mint Rentals does not allow to bring the rental vehicle to ferry. You will drop off your car at one port and collect another after crossing to the other island. A minimum of 3 days consecutive rental required in each island (If the minimum length of rental requirement is not met, then the rental will be charged as two separate hires.).
