We had to call and walk to a car pick up location, but we were treated very well and the van we rented was a great price and amount of space for an adult family to travel together.

We'd have liked more clear understanding that we were booking through a third party...

Overall service was satisfactory. The car was relatively old, had high fuel consumption, and the air conditioning and engine power were insufficient. Pickup and return processes were convenient.

Special mention for Ryan in Christchurch who was fantastic, very responsive and resolved queries related to Auckland booking despite being in Christchurch. Absolutely wonderful person to deal with.

Pick-up and drop-off were very straightforward. There was no pressure to purchase insurance, and I only paid 10 NZD for a toll pass, which is useful as some roads charge tolls. With the pass, you don't have to pay manually. This is quite essential. Additionally, in New Zealand, many parking lots require you to immediately input your vehicle information at a payment machine or via an app after parking. Do not wait until you're leaving, as even during free time periods, you may be fined.

Very good. However, you need to walk quite a distance after exiting the airport to find the shuttle bus. Similarly, when getting dropped off at the airport, you might have to push your luggage for five minutes in the rain to reach the terminal. In short, it would be more convenient if the store were inside the airport. The staff communicated smoothly and provided excellent service, but the distance is a major drawback.

Very disappointed about all the hidden costs. Extra costs to reduce the amount held as bond on your credit card. Extra costs to sort tolls. Extra costs for after hours drop off. Will never use this discounted car hire again because of this. Will go with a reputable company based at the airport that has an all inclusive price.

Excellent service, with pickup and drop-off provided. No hidden fees or aggressive insurance sales during the rental process.

Make sure to book the car right after passing customs, or you'll wait for half an hour.
