The pick-up process was smooth, but I almost got scammed during the return. Here's a reminder for everyone: 1. During pick-up, you need to get a number and queue up, so it's best to go early. This place shares the same location as Avis; they asked if I wanted to purchase insurance, but I declined since I had already bought it, and they didn't try to upsell further. To get the car, you need to walk to the P3 parking lot. The staff kindly pointed me in the right direction, but I still couldn't figure it out and wandered around for a bit. Eventually, I asked a parking lot employee who directed me to the correct place. Picking up the car was relatively smooth; it wasn't the model I reserved, but I didn't mind as long as I had a car. It was a new vehicle with less than 1,000 km driven. The staff confirmed it was full of fuel, and when I started it, the fuel gauge was full, showing 520 km. 2. Returning the car was where the issue arose. When I picked it up, I took photos and videos of the entire car, including the dashboard. At return, the fuel gauge was full, showing 570 km. However, the first staff member did more than just check this; they accessed the car's smart display and claimed I had driven an additional 60 km after refilling, meaning the tank wasn't full. They said I either needed to go to a nearby station to refuel or pay €35.15 for the missing fuel. This was unacceptable to me. How could 60 km cost that much in fuel? And this process seemed unreasonable—why only use the dashboard to confirm the fuel level at pick-up but then rely on the smart display during return? I immediately called QEEQ customer service to explain the issue, staying on the line for about 20 minutes. QEEQ's team told me to hand the phone to their staff to clarify. The initial employee was busy with other customers, so a second staff member took the call. He seemed unaware of the problem, so I briefly explained and showed him the dashboard photos I took at pickup. After checking the car again, he stated, "I think there's no issue with the fuel; you're good to return it." He inspected the car for damages, found none, accepted the return, signed off, and refunded my deposit immediately! What a surreal experience. Thankfully, I stuck to my position from the start. Everyone, take note: Make sure to take photos of the fuel gauge, and if there's a smart display, ask staff upfront which measure is considered definitive.

I rented a car in Madrid and picked it up in the city center. They neither mentioned in the contract nor told me verbally that the car did not have an A-class environmental badge, which meant it could not be driven in the entire city center. As a result, I unknowingly entered the restricted area and received a penalty fine. The rental company should bear full responsibility for this.

The car provided was a DR brand, which I later found out online was a Chery car rebranded by the Italian company DR. The car's condition was mediocre, and the carpets in the front row had two large holes worn through. I had to tear a cardboard box to place over them. When picking up the car, there were a lot of people, but only two staff members who were being very slow, so it took over two hours to get the car. The phone number was always unreachable! I tried calling the number on the order from the time my plane landed until after I returned the car, and it never went through. Later, I requested to return the car in a different city, Seville, due to my travel itinerary, but the request was denied. They also refused a delayed return request, so I had no choice but to drive through the night without rest to Madrid to return the car.

When I first picked up the car, the vehicle provided didn't match my reservation. Although this was understandable, it indirectly led to issues later. I was given a seven-seater vehicle instead of the five-seater with a large trunk I had originally booked. The staff suggested that I could fold down the rear seats to create more trunk space, which I accepted. However, problems arose during the return process. I feel this may have been due to individual actions by their staff, and I am simply stating the facts. When I returned the car on time, the staff member immediately took the keys and began inspecting the vehicle. Upon opening the trunk, they realized I had folded down the rear seats to use as trunk space. The staff tried to unfold the right rear seat for inspection but handled it too forcefully and ended up damaging it.

Don't be fooled by the initially cheap price. I wanted to rent a Golf, but they said they only had a Ford of the same class. There’s an additional charge of 0.5 euros per km if you exceed 1000 km. I recommend calculating the costs carefully before deciding whether to rent. I opted for full insurance upon arrival, which cost 94 euros. The deposit was reduced from 1200 to 200 euros. Overall, the experience was quite unpleasant—lacking transparency. Picking up the car was also troublesome, as I had to take a shuttle to another hotel, which added at least an hour to the process.

The overall performance and condition of the car were satisfactory, but the store's service was quite average. I booked the car a day in advance to pick it up from the airport store, but during my way to the pickup location, I called and found out that the actual pickup spot was elsewhere, and this was not communicated to me beforehand. When arriving to pick up the car, the store was closed, and I had to wait a long time. Returning the car was even worse — despite arriving an hour earlier than the agreed time, I ended up waiting for 3 hours. The store was closed, and no one could be reached despite countless calls. After 3 hours, the platform finally helped get in touch with the store.

Spanish people are usually very enthusiastic and talkative, but the service here can only be described as average. Perhaps the job is relatively monotonous, making their attitudes seem mechanical. The staff at the pickup counter were still pushing expensive add-ons. The person at the T1 drop-off point seemed quite arrogant—only answering questions directly and disregarding others' thoughts or information. They even insisted that cars picked up at T1 must be returned to T1, which caused me to go back and forth several times to confirm with the front desk.

I had already paid the airport pick-up fee, but even after the rental company's customer service and the airport staff communicated, they still claimed they couldn't see it in the system and charged me a high airport pick-up fee again. They told me that C-marked cars couldn't enter the city center and that if a camera caught me, I would have to pay a hefty fine. They suggested I switch to an Echo-marked car for an additional cost; however, in reality, C-marked cars can enter the designated core areas of the city as long as the car is parked in an underground garage and a photo of the parking ticket is kept for reference. This is completely different from what the rental company staff said. They also threatened that the insurance I bought through the rental platform was useless and that they wouldn't help if anything happened, exaggerating to intimidate me. This was the worst rental car company and staff I encountered in Spain. In the end, I insisted on choosing directly through the rental platform, and the staff looked very displeased and did not give me the car model I booked; they only provided a Peugeot 308 and would not respond to my questions anymore.

This experience serves as a serious warning to everyone planning to rent a car in Europe.
First of all, the car I reserved was completely different from the one I was given, and the difference was significant. The rental company claimed that the given vehicle was the only one available. Since we were rushing to keep to our itinerary, we didn't argue much. The most outrageous part was that the car we received was actually broken. Initially, when shifting into first gear, the car reversed instead of moving forward. We thought it was just us being unfamiliar with the car's operation, so we didn't pay much attention. However, the issue persisted for about ten minutes. Later, as we were driving towards the parking lot exit, the car completely stalled on an uphill slope and even started smoking. The rental company insisted that the damage was our fault. When the car was handed to us, the fuel level was already close to empty, making it seem like this was a trick being used repeatedly. They directly charged €1500 from my credit card. Now, I’ve filed a complaint and it's already been over a month and a half without any progress. There are many details I won’t elaborate on, but overall, it was a terrible experience. It seriously ruined our travel plans for the day. Not only were we delayed, but we lost over €1500 for a car that didn’t even leave the parking lot. On top of that, they refused to refund the fee for that day’s rental. Honestly, the whole ordeal felt sickening, like eating something disgusting.

I rented a Polo, but the rental company gave me an old, beat-up Toyota. The car showed a tire pressure warning after just one day, and I had to exchange it in another city, which caused great inconvenience to my trip. During the car return, an attendant, who seemed to be Indian, inspected the car with a flashlight, nitpicking every little thing. They blamed some scratches on me even though they weren't my fault. Since I swapped the car midway and forgot to take photos, I had no choice but to accept their damage assessment. I suspect they were nitpicking because I didn't buy their insurance. On top of that, they charged some €0.5 daily emissions fee, which I find shameless.

Airport surcharge, not communicated in original booking price as all other legal and ethical companies communicate. You have to choose one of their insurances, this means that if you have credit card benefit covering rentals that's null and void and you need to pay for theirs. The staff do their best, but they work for an unethical company and have the huge challenge of convincing you the misinformation and lies the company policies include are standard and should have been expected...wouldn't want their job.
