You can arrive of Record Go - Madrid Off Airport car rental by free shuttle bus.

PICK-UPS: Literally, 5 minutes from the airport in our free shuttle service. In Calle Cigoitia, 1 – San Blas – Canillejas. Terminal 1 – T1 - ‘Exit the terminal through gate 13 (in front of Arrival lounge 2) and cross the zebra crossing., there you will see our meeting point.’ Terminal 2 & 3 – T2 – T3 - : ‘Go to the exit in front the Exit lounge 5 or 6 and follow the indications to T1. Drop-off Instructions

To return the vehicle to our office at Calle Cigoitia, 1 – San Blas – Canillejas, Madrid, follow the signs: From the airport, head south on the M-14. Take exit 1 towards E-90/A-2. Once you are on the A2, take the branch towards A2/Vía de Servicio and make a right turn onto Avenida de Aragón (180º turn). Record go Madrid Office: Calle Cigoitia, 1 – San Blas – Canillejas, Madrid. No out of hours available. Key box for returning 24/7 without shuttle service after the office closing time.(From 7 am to 23 pm)

Everything was fine until I went to pick up the car. I was told that I either paid 22 Euros a day for the full cover insurance or that I would have to put down 1000 Euros deposit that would be refunded in ‘about’ a week. I wasn’t comfortable with this and was told that I had to do one or the other to take the car. 1000 Euros is a lot of money to hand over so I reluctantly paid 22 Euros for the insurance as it was late and I wanted to get away. I later read on the T&C’s that if there is any damage to the car I would be liable to 1000 Euro excess which I understand but I could not find anywhere that it says you have to put 1000 Euros deposit down.

Record Go's location is outside the airport. After landing, you take a shuttle to their office for pick-up and drop-off. A deposit of €1200 is required, but if you don't want to pay this amount, you can opt for additional insurance costing around €80. Additionally, you need to pay approximately €80 for fuel upfront during pick-up, which will be refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. It's been two days since I returned the car, but the deposit and fuel refund have not been processed yet. I was informed that the standard processing time is seven days, with a maximum of thirty days.

When you return the car it has to be completely full, and they only allow up to about 10 km of fuel usage, so you’re basically forced to fill up at a nearby gas station right before drop-off.
