We chose the full coverage insurance when booking the car. At the Barcelona airport rental counter, we specifically informed the staff that we already had insurance and did not need any additional coverage. However, they still added insurance to the bill, claiming it was a refundable deposit. It's been half a month since we returned to our home country, and the amount has yet to be refunded. This charge is incredibly frustrating.

It was an extremely bad car rental experience. When we arrived, the rental company didn't have the exact model we booked and forced us to pay an extra 43.57 euros for a supposed 'upgraded' model (which was actually quite similar to the one we originally booked). Based on our previous car rental experiences, if the rental company doesn't have the reserved car, they would usually provide a similar car for free without charging us any price difference.

A very poor car rental experience. When we arrived, the rental company did not have the exact model we had booked and forced us to pay an additional 43.57 euros for a different car (which was actually similar to what we originally booked). Based on our previous car rental experiences, if a rental agency didn't have the car available, they would automatically and free of charge provide a similar replacement without charging any additional fees.

1. The shuttle bus was impossible to find. I had no idea where it was and spent half an hour searching for it. In the end, I had to take a taxi, which cost 10 euros on the meter. The driver said the starting fare from the airport is 21 euros. 2. At the time of car pickup, they aggressively pushed an insurance plan costing 26 euros per day, even though I had already purchased full insurance. 3. If you don’t buy their insurance, no one will assist you during pickup. They simply hand you a key and leave you to search for the car among hundreds of vehicles under the blazing sun. 4. Apart from the authorization hold, they also blocked 109 euros for fuel, saying it would be refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. I’ve rented cars many times and this is the first time I’ve encountered a company that precharges fuel costs. 5. I received a parking ticket during the rental period and asked the staff for help on how to handle it, but they completely ignored me and told me to sort it out myself without providing any guidance or information.

The car rental company had a staff member who insisted I purchase the €47 insurance. He had a very poor attitude when I refused, and after lengthy discussions, I ended up buying it. Actually, I had already purchased full insurance through the platform, but the rental company couldn't see it. As a result, I had to cancel the full insurance from the platform. The platform's full coverage was only €150, whereas theirs was €47 per day—totally not worth it. However, the platform's customer service lady was extremely patient and helped with translation. I am very grateful.

This company is completely untrustworthy. When I went to rent a car, I had purchased the platform's extra full insurance, but they refused to acknowledge it and forced me to buy their in-store insurance. After I bought their insurance, they gave me a very poorly maintained car. Later, when I complained, they gave me a somewhat newer car. I took some photos of the exterior to check for scratches, dents, and issues with the glass or tires, and inspected the seat cushions before driving it away. Two days later, I realized that the clips on the sun visor were broken. When we returned the car, I assumed the visor was already broken before and didn't mention it. However, the store staff immediately checked the visor and fined me 50 euros for it. Honestly, who would inspect the sun visor when picking up a car? Additionally, we got a parking ticket during the rental period. When I received the notice, I immediately asked my friend to pay the 25-euro fine online. Yet this morning, I received another fine notice from the rental company asking me to pay 200 euros for the same issue. This is an absolute scam.

The staff at the car pickup was very friendly. Since there were times when we couldn't understand each other, we went back and forth using translation software, which took quite a bit of time, but he was very patient. The car provided was a DS model, though I don’t know the specific version. However, the car had numerous scratches. As it was my first time renting a car, I had read online that you should be very meticulous about documenting scratches. Due to the large number of scratches, we spent over 40 minutes just taking photos. After picking up the car from the basement level 4, we communicated with the staff, who said we only needed to take photos and didn’t need to add anything to the contract. He assured us that as long as there were prior photos, any issues later wouldn't be heavily pursued, and this turned out to be true. The car was given to us with a full tank of gas and a remaining range of 560 kilometers recorded. When returning the car, we refueled to full at a gas station very close to the store, but the remaining range showed only 540 kilometers. There was nothing we could do since it was already at full capacity. At the time of returning the car, no issues were raised, but later we discovered that 8 euros had been deducted from our credit card deposit! We suspect this was due to the 20-kilometer discrepancy. Keep in mind that in Europe, one liter of gas costs just 1.6 euros, and we had already refueled fully.

The company enforced the purchase of full insurance, which I didn't appreciate. It was my first time renting an electric car, and charging it was very inconvenient—sometimes it took several hours to fully charge. Goldcar's customer service was poor. They mentioned free parking for electric cars but only stated that it applied to blue zones when asked, without explaining that you need to display a receipt on the windshield. As a result, I received a fine. I wanted to pay the fine myself, but the rental company charged a €50 management fee first and then told me to handle the payment on my own. Additionally, I accidentally drove into another country for two hours and was charged €105 without prior warning from the rental company. They did not inform me in advance that crossing into other European countries would incur a fee. Rules are strictly enforced abroad, and accidental mistakes are not accommodated.

This was the worst car rental experience I've ever had. I waited for the pick-up service for one and a half hours. The process took 40 minutes, and the car I received was not the same class as the one shown online. The most outrageous part was when I returned the car; they tried to blame me for various small damages that were already there. Fortunately, I found photos on their phone showing the car's condition from previous customers, so they had nothing to say. Returning the car still took 30 minutes, and we almost called the police. My €500 deposit has not been returned yet. Can't believe this company is highly rated.

This shop offers delivery to the airport, but I took public transit from Barcelona city center. I contacted the store, and the actual address is Avinguda les Garrigues 46, Mas Blau, Barcelona. I chose ACE company to avoid renting with companies with poor reviews. Unfortunately, it turned out that ACE is used only to cover up the fact that you are renting with Gold car ( bad experience in the past) that in fact is using Rhodium cars ( very poor reviews). I could have rented with them directly for a lower price, but I wanted to go with a more reputable company. This practice is very misleading and this experience was rather disappointing. Expensive rental, hard to find at the airport, long line, extra tax charges, claims of having no insurance even though papers claim that I boight a basic one.

I think overall it's pretty good. There was no aggressive upselling of insurance. When picking up the car, there was a 'prepaid fuel option' for €97, and they said it would be refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. I was initially worried they wouldn't refund it upon return, but they did refund it when I returned the car fully fueled. I was also concerned about potential issues during the car return process, but they inspected the car on the spot and issued a receipt clearly and promptly. Everything was transparent and straightforward.

The front desk employee (a girl) was very cold. I purchased full insurance, but in case of an accident, I have to pay the entire amount upfront. This might not be the car rental company's issue, but the staff's attitude was extremely indifferent. You have to sign before seeing the contract, which company does that? The staff's English was poor and they couldn't explain things clearly. The lighting in the parking lot was very dim when inspecting the car. The storage box cover inside the car didn't close properly and was taped up. For evidence at return, I planned to take pictures but wasn't allowed to. It took nearly an hour to pick up the car. After twenty years of renting cars, this was the worst experience.

(1) The day before leaving Barcelona, we found the car tire had been mysteriously punctured. Since we only had basic insurance, Autoclick advised us to handle it ourselves. After two phone calls with no response, we couldn't reach them again. Very poor service, and they didn't inform us about any free towing services, which cost us an extra 80 euros. Very disappointing. (2) The store is a bit far from the airport with no clear signage. We spent a long time searching for it and only found it after calling to get the exact address.

The service was good. We booked a Picasso C4, but were given brand new Peugeot 508s. We reserved one automatic and one manual, but the staff made a mistake and gave us two manuals. They corrected the issue immediately upon realizing it. The process was simple, and the staff were friendly.
