The car rental company had a staff member who insisted I purchase the €47 insurance. He had a very poor attitude when I refused, and after lengthy discussions, I ended up buying it. Actually, I had already purchased full insurance through the platform, but the rental company couldn't see it. As a result, I had to cancel the full insurance from the platform. The platform's full coverage was only €150, whereas theirs was €47 per day—totally not worth it. However, the platform's customer service lady was extremely patient and helped with translation. I am very grateful.
Communication with the staff at the pickup location was average. Couldn't find anyone in the garage, everything was self-service, and I wasn’t sure how to handle the minor scratches on the car.
Professional and satisfactory. The car was in good condition with minimal scratches, unlike my previous rental experience with Europcar where the car had many scratches, leading to disputes afterward.
Due to the inconvenience of parking in Barcelona, I returned the car early at a different location. There was a 40 EUR fee. The car pickup was convenient, with no additional requirements, and the car was new.
The service was professional. Although they introduced additional insurance, they proceeded with other formalities without any unpleasantness after I declined. The vehicle was relatively new and in good condition.
1. The shuttle bus was impossible to find. I had no idea where it was and spent half an hour searching for it. In the end, I had to take a taxi, which cost 10 euros on the meter. The driver said the starting fare from the airport is 21 euros.
2. At the time of car pickup, they aggressively pushed an insurance plan costing 26 euros per day, even though I had already purchased full insurance.
3. If you don’t buy their insurance, no one will assist you during pickup. They simply hand you a key and leave you to search for the car among hundreds of vehicles under the blazing sun.
4. Apart from the authorization hold, they also blocked 109 euros for fuel, saying it would be refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. I’ve rented cars many times and this is the first time I’ve encountered a company that precharges fuel costs.
5. I received a parking ticket during the rental period and asked the staff for help on how to handle it, but they completely ignored me and told me to sort it out myself without providing any guidance or information.
