The counter for processing car rental procedures is very efficient. The pickup is on the 4th floor, and the staff provided a detailed sheet marking all existing scratches on the car. The return process was also very efficient; the staff took a quick look and some photos to complete the inspection. Initially, I was worried they might nitpick, as reconfirming all pre-existing scratches could take some time, but this did not happen. I highly recommend this car rental company.

We booked more than a month in advance and rented a car that could seat three people and fit three 24-inch suitcases. However, we were given an Opel hatchback, and the trunk could only fit one large suitcase. Putting suitcases on the back seat was unsafe, and it also cramped the space for the backseat passengers. We firmly argued with the staff at the store and eventually got a larger car, but we had to wait for two hours, which wasted a lot of our time and resulted in us arriving at the hotel almost at 12:30 AM. Worried about disputes when returning the car, we purchased full insurance at the store for three days at €102. The return process went smoothly later. Make sure to take video recordings when picking up and returning the car.

Never rent from this company!!! Car was nice but they gave no inspection at checkout and charged me for a 1/2cm scratch that could hardly be seen! The scratch was not caused by us as far as I know. Nobody went over the car at checkout. We did pics but a tiny scratch cannot be seen in the pics because it was so small. Terrible service and a total SCAM!

The car pickup experience was good, but the exchange process was disappointing. The fuel tank was not fully filled when picking up the car. Before returning the car, we refueled at a gas station about 40-50 kilometers from the highway exit, but the rental company claimed the fuel level was insufficient and wanted to charge 80 euros. We had to drive out again to refuel, which only cost 8 euros. Lesson learned: refuel closer to the city area before returning the car. Additionally, during the vehicle exchange, they inspected the headlights for damages and falsely accused us of using the wrong type of fuel. We argued strongly, and they eventually dropped the claim. Tips: Take a photo of the fuel gauge when picking up the car, and keep the fuel receipt for proof.

The car was brand new within one year, in excellent condition. Highly recommend this company if all your trips are within Italy because they have numerous service locations across the country, including two on Sicily—one in Palermo and one in Catania. It's advisable to purchase basic insurance through QEEQ and upgrade to the Silver Cover package at the rental desk during pickup. This package includes zero excess for damages and covers tires and glass. Returned the car at 9:22 AM, inspection took just 10 seconds, and the report was emailed within an hour—see attached image.

I purchased both the full insurance from the store and from QEEQ in advance. The entire process of picking up and returning the car was very simple with no complications or pushy upselling. Staff were friendly, and I presented the translated documents and notarizations without any issues. They didn’t insist on having a Hague notarization either. The vehicle provided was a hybrid model, but the rental company didn’t inform beforehand that the battery levels would display between 1%-3%. Unsure of the situation, I confirmed with a gas station and QEEQ’s customer service that it’s not a problem – the car automatically switches to fuel mode for driving. Everything else about the service was great. As for the Jeep Compass model, the trunk is smaller than expected; it cannot fit four 28-inch suitcases but can hold three comfortably.

Very satisfied. The car rental counter is located inside the airport and handles bookings for several rental companies. Waiting time depends on the number of customers, so make sure to take a ticket first—just like at banks to process your turn. Once you're done, head to the parking lot inside the airport to meet staff and pick up your car. This booking included QEEQ's comprehensive insurance purchased online and allowed for one-way car drop-offs. Since I didn't purchase insurance at the local branch, I carefully followed the staff's instructions and took pictures of all visible scratches on the car. The staff said they don’t count scratches under 5cm—seems it's not as tricky as some online reviews suggest. To be safe, I photographed all scratches even ones they didn’t point out. They held a €500 deposit, which was fully refunded to my credit card within two days of returning the car. I encountered no unauthorized charges—overall, very satisfying! Note: Since the one-way drop-off happened over the weekend, the local staff finished work at 1 PM, meaning any drop-offs after that would incur an extra €20 service fee. I only discovered this after reviewing the detailed QEEQ booking confirmation. I contacted their customer service to confirm the situation, and it turned out to be accurate. I could only envy the relaxed work schedules of Europeans. The car I received matched the model I booked. As an experienced driver, I found it somewhat hard to drive—the steering wheel was heavy, and the air conditioning was average. Everything else was fine, but it wasn’t as easy to drive as the small car I’d rented from another company in Rome previously. Overall, this rental company proved to be reliable.

The Tiggo sometimes suddenly stops moving; don't panic, just press the gas pedal hard and it will work after a while. Italians are really kind and helpful. After I returned, I asked a mechanic who said it might be an electronic throttle issue. It was a 5000-kilometer new car and seemed fine—didn't expect it to suddenly stop working.

I booked a 7 seater car as I had 6 people in our party. I was given a long wheel base 9 seater mini bus. As soon as I drove it it was clear that the brakes needed repairing. I went straight back into the office but the representative had gone and closed up. I phoned the next day but no answer and finally got through the following day and returned the vehicle, not for a 7 seater as booked but another large minbus. Where we were staying in Rome this was a real problem as we couldnt get the van on the driveway. Please, if someone books a people carrier can you not give them a large bus which struggles to park or get down very narrow lanes. Thank you

O carro era otimo, nos atendeu muito bem. Mas nao gostei da cobrança em valor alto no meu cartao de credito no ato da locacao. Na semana anterior, alugamos pela QEEQ tambem, pela Budget, que opera com a Avis, e a cobrança foi muito menor que com a Dolar-Hertz. Outra questao quem com a Dolar-Hertz, o seguro AXA- QEEQ só funciona por reembolso, ou seja, voce precisa pagar qualquer extra e depois negociar com o seguro. Já com a Budget- Dolar nao, o seguro AXA-QEEQ cobre os extras automaticamente. Tivemos nosso voo partindo de Malpensa cancelado e tivemos que mudar o ponto de devolução do carro para Bergamo. Ligamos para a Hertz- Dolar em Malpensa que nos informou que nao poderia fazer a mudança! Fui num balcão da Hertz-Dolar em Verona e felizmente a alteração pode ser feita sem custo extra e facilmente. Mas foi um stress com o atendimento pelo telefone. Por fim, na devolução do carro em Bergamo, o funcionario recebeu o carro mas nao deixou 100% claro se estava rudo OK sem extras. Resumindo, nao pretendo alugar novamente pela Dolar- Hertz, e recomendo a Budget- Avis.

Staff at pick up counter seemed to be more interested with social media on their phones then to look after you. the female staff employee where we picked up the car was ignorant and once again cared more about her phone. i tried pointing out some damage on the car and she dismissed me told us we would receive an email with what damages were on the car prior to pick up. we never did receive an email.

We were in the waiting line 1.5 hours late. We waited another hour before we were called to the counter. The lady at the counter said "we were over 2 hours late and hence they gave our car away". She then started offering us a different car for 300 euros more. I explained our reason being late which was not in our control. The lady said we don't have any other options. I then asked for a smaller car which she was able to give us for the same cost. I asked if the cost could be reduced since I am getting the same car and the answer was no. The lack of an international drivers lic. caused a problem that I was forced to take full insurance coverage(545€) before they would give me a vehicle!!! The car rental company requires a €480 insurance fee for cross-border rentals, which was not communicated by the platform in advance. The platform also sold its own insurance. The additional insurance cost more than the rental itself. Customer service couldn't resolve any issues. Whether the platform is malicious or simply less competent and responsible, as a platform, it should at least have clear information from the rental company. Leaving customers to deal with the rental company's unilateral demands abroad is unacceptable. I will avoid using it in the future as much as possible.

We reserved a Audi A3 but got a Mini Cooper( same class according to the car rental angency but we prefer an Audi A3, no big deal though), the car was absolutely disgusting and we're too busy learning everything about the car before drive away from their Rome airport garage that we forgot to check the fuel level, a few minute after we checked out from the garage we saw that the fuel was only half but the paper stated it was full so we had to return to the garage and ask the staff, he wrote sth casually on the paper and walked away with zero interest in listening to our complain about the dirty car. When we returned the car in Ancona the guy there told us that's what happens at their Rome airport branch quite often, guess they're either understaffed or just have no desire keeping their customer! Btw on my confirmation with EasyRentCars it states clearly that the price quote includes one-way-return but when we picked up the car Maggiore still added a charge we can't remember why but we never buy any add-ons when rent cars, one driver/deny all insurance coz our credit card covers it/same fuel level/no gps needed....we needed nothing extra, now Amex is investigating the extra charge for us.

The front desk staff was aggressive with us, telling us we needed to spend an additional 237 euros and that Easyrentcars did something illegal by renting us one of Goldcar/Rhodium's vehicles. She tried to sell me things that were already covered in my Easyrentcars contract and kept us at the desk for over an hour. She demanded a copy of the contract and continued to tell us this was illegal. I refused to pay the additional fee, which infuriated her, but she finally gave me the keys. The vehicle had damage on it that was not indicated on the initial document, so they re-did it and gave me another. I took pictures just in case they gave me a hard time when I returned it. When I returned the car, I had no problem at all.

Car not fully and newly cleaned upon collection (but no big deal, wasn't like dirty) and windshield fluid empty (a bit annoying). Everything else just fine and very good value for money - will likely use Goldcar/Rhodium again on next trip to Italy.

Affitto auto tutte le settimane, ma mai mi sono ritrovato in queste condizioni. Personale scorretto arrogante approssimativo. Pensate che mi hanno dato l’auto con due incidenti e uno neanche era stato segnato. Fanno dello sciacallaggio vero per far sì che si acquisti la loro assicurazione casco. I peggiori in assoluto su tutta ciampino.

The service of counter and garage staff was courteous and efficient. My only complaint was with the vehicle. I reserved a Fiat Panda or equivalent. Unfortunately Firefly didn’t have any cars in that class and they tried to give me a much larger car, which was definitely not useful to me. We compromised on a Fiat Cubo, which has to be one of the worst designed vehicles ever. Because of the front dash construction, with the seat pulled up to accommodate a smaller woman, I could barely fit my leg underneath in order to reach the clutch with my foot. It was virtually impossible to find a comfortable seat position. The vehicle was too heavy and did not handle well , and the clutch was not at all smooth to operate. All in all, I would never take this model again on a future rental. They should remove it from their fleet.

Dislike: Was not clear when booking that the rental office was not in the airport. Wasnt a big deal but i wasted time looking for the office inside the terminal. Had to call to find out.
