This rental company is the most demanding one I have encountered in my ten-plus years of renting cars abroad, hands down. The mileage allowance they provide is limited, and the car body had numerous damages. It was the worst vehicle condition I have ever rented. During the return process, they conduct an extremely thorough inspection; the staff literally get on the ground to check every corner and feel every inch with their hands, determined to find issues. I’ve never seen a rental company operate like this in over a decade. Additionally, this company requires your driving license to show the date you first obtained it to verify you have held it for more than two years. My license was renewed after five years and only displayed the date of issuance a year and a half ago. I had to dig up an old photo of my previous license to resolve this, almost preventing me from picking up the car. Not every country includes the first issuance date on their licenses, so such requirements should be clearly listed by the company. I strongly advise against choosing this company to avoid unnecessary hassle.

The staff was very friendly. They could locate the reservation with just a name and driver's license, then deposit payment was required to collect the car. I wrote my name, address, phone number, and email on paper for the staff. However, when reviewing the order, I found that they had entered the address incorrectly. I informed them immediately, and they said they would correct it. Despite this, the order contract I received via email was still incorrect. When returning the car, I informed the staff again and rewrote the information, but the subsequent email still contained the same mistake.

I have driven in 24 countries and rented cars many times through Zuzuche. This car rental company is the most bizarre one I've encountered: they don't provide a full tank of fuel when handing over the car but expect you to return it at the same level. Isn't that just making things unnecessarily difficult? When returning the car, the inspection was ridiculously stringent. The staff literally pressed their nose to the car, inspecting every inch, circling it twice, and finally claimed a scratch the size of a grain of rice on the rim wasn't originally there! Unbelievable! When I picked up the car, I only did a general check for visible damages; who inspects so meticulously? I had no choice but to pay over 140 euros! Their office turned out to be a very small setup, with just a few parking spaces crammed into a large lot, and it took me a long time to locate their return spot. And another observation: while nearby car rental companies were bustling with customers, here, when I was returning the car, their staff member was napping! As a major platform, Zuzuche should partner with larger, reputable, and trustworthy rental companies rather than small, unprofessional ones that rely on shady methods to make money!

Pick-up and drop-off were very convenient. The staff were responsible and professional. Basic insurance package with no aggressive upselling. Since it wasn't full coverage, a higher deposit preauthorization of €2500 was required, but it was immediately released after the vehicle inspection on the return day. This place is a scam. Let me warn you. 1. Even if you buy your own insurance, they force you to purchase their expensive insurance (200-300 euros); 2. They confiscate your passport and credit card; 3. The staff is very rude; 4. The car provided was not the one I reserved and was dirty (see picture), it was old and filthy with bird droppings all over the trunk, and the staff couldn't care less; 5. They trap you when returning the car, asking me to pay for small dents and scratches from previous users; 6. They especially target foreigners, if you don't speak Italian, they will scam you in various ways; 7. I have lost a lot of money to this scam, and I saw other foreigners facing the same issues, arguing was useless.

It was quite good, no queues upon arrival. The process started immediately. I read in other reviews that there could be up to a 3-hour wait, but there wasn’t any. The prices were very cheap, and although they did try to sell insurance, you just need to tell them you don’t need it. The staff were also nice; they understood we didn’t need the insurance and didn’t push further. I didn’t see any signs of racial discrimination as some reviews mentioned. Everyone finds their own car, and it seems like they don’t have many staff in the first place. The cars given out were all SUVs; the person before me, who was white, got the same. The deposit was 1200 euros, which was just a hold and not an actual charge; as long as the car was returned in good condition, the deposit was refunded directly. I was quite worried after reading the reviews, but everything went very smoothly, and the vehicle was also good.

The car return inspection was smooth, and we got our deposit back without issue. I was a bit worried after reading the comments, but everything went smoothly, and the car was in good condition.

After the tire blew out, it took about 2 hours for the car rental company to answer the phone. The 24-hour roadside assistance hotline was called for half an hour, but neither the rental company nor the assistance service spoke good English. The replacement car provided by the rental company needed to be picked up in person, and the journey took more than an hour, wasting almost the entire day. I would suggest avoiding this company.

There's no need to stick to rental companies inside the airport terminal, as this limits your options. Before our trip, we carefully inquired with the customer service on the Zuzuche website. The customer service clearly indicated that Avis would accept Chinese driving licenses with translations and notarized copies. However, when we arrived exhausted at Catania Airport, Avis refused to rent to us and directed us to a small company next door called Green Motion. The staff at this small company barely spoke English, but fortunately, I spoke Italian well enough to communicate with them. After a three-hour wait and some hassle, we finally got the car. The only available automatic car was a Mercedes Benz. Since we were traveling with a child who was already tired and hungry, we had no choice but to negotiate. We ended up paying 600 euros for 8 days of rental and an 800-euro pre-authorization as a deposit, with no full insurance. Any issues would be deducted from the deposit. This forced us to drive extremely carefully. We originally planned to rent a small car with full insurance for 485 euros, but instead, it turned into an expensive, uninsured Mercedes. The experience was very frustrating.

Absolutely avoid this Italian company, Budget. They are a rip-off. They push expensive insurance when picking up the car, and if you refuse, they give you an attitude. There's no staff present when you pick up the car. Very poor experience. Firstly, I booked an Alfa but was forced to choose between a nine-seater manual and automatic. This company is a complete scam. The service attitude was terrible. The staff didn't speak much English and kept speaking Italian. They charged me nearly 300 euros, and then another 70+ euros for postage. After paying, I asked what the charges were for, but they couldn't explain clearly. I thought it was a deposit for the car, refundable if there were no issues when returning the car. When I called the rental company, they told me it was for insurance. The staff at GOLDCAR never mentioned the word insurance in English. The contract I signed did not state insurance anywhere, and there was no paperwork from an insurance company, only the GOLDCAR contract. I repeatedly told them to follow the booking I made on the Chinese website (I had already purchased insurance and paid the rental fee in China). This is outright fraud.

Quite affordable, and the requirements for a driver's license are low. Early in the morning, they called me to tell me my car was blocking someone's door and asked me to move it. That's really thoughtful! There are fewer cars available, so book in advance.
