Like: The service at the rental office was friendly and very good. We were a large group of 5 adults and 4 children, who had booked 2 station wagons. The lady at the pick-up office saw our luggage (which we considered typical for US / Canadian families) and pointed out, correctly, that it would not fit into the cars we had booked, along with the passengers. I guess North American ideas of "medium" sized cars is different from European ones. She offered 1 car as booked, and offered a 9 seater mini-van instead of the 2nd car. The additional charge was very reasonable (80 Euros for 5 days) and the swap made so much sense for us in the end. Very good service, and all was handled with the least amount of fuss or hassles.
Dislike: At the time of drop-off, I did pay a steep fee (45 Euros) for not refilling the gas to full. This fee was in addition to the cost of the fuel, which was also charged at a premium. I suggest that you should leave enough time to get a refill before returning the car to avoid this.

The check-in was fast and efficient, much better than with other car rental companies. Car was almost new and clean, although a bit smaller than anticipated (a Fiat Tipo instead of a wolkswagen Touran). Checkout very fast and efficient.

I booked an automatic MPV, but when I got to the counter, they said they didn't have it. If I didn't want to wait, they offered me a manual car and wouldn't refund the difference. Ended up waiting almost an hour for someone to return a car, and only got a hatchback Golf, charged at MPV rates! No explanation, even after contacting the car rental company, no one answered the phone.

The overall experience was unpleasant due to the car return issue. There was no one to assist, and the map couldn't accurately locate the return spot. Very satisfied. The car rental counter is located inside the airport and handles bookings for several rental companies. Waiting time depends on the number of customers, so make sure to take a ticket first—just like at banks to process your turn. Once you're done, head to the parking lot inside the airport to meet staff and pick up your car. This booking included QEEQ's comprehensive insurance purchased online and allowed for one-way car drop-offs. Since I didn't purchase insurance at the local branch, I carefully followed the staff's instructions and took pictures of all visible scratches on the car. The staff said they don’t count scratches under 5cm—seems it's not as tricky as some online reviews suggest. To be safe, I photographed all scratches even ones they didn’t point out. They held a €500 deposit, which was fully refunded to my credit card within two days of returning the car. I encountered no unauthorized charges—overall, very satisfying! Note: Since the one-way drop-off happened over the weekend, the local staff finished work at 1 PM, meaning any drop-offs after that would incur an extra €20 service fee. I only discovered this after reviewing the detailed QEEQ booking confirmation. I contacted their customer service to confirm the situation, and it turned out to be accurate. I could only envy the relaxed work schedules of Europeans. The car I received matched the model I booked. As an experienced driver, I found it somewhat hard to drive—the steering wheel was heavy, and the air conditioning was average. Everything else was fine, but it wasn’t as easy to drive as the small car I’d rented from another company in Rome previously. Overall, this rental company proved to be reliable.
