The car was good, and the pickup process went smoothly. The staff were polite. Due to changes in my itinerary, I had to change the drop-off location, and the fee was reasonable at 80 euros. Overall, a very good experience. Reminder: Traveling from Switzerland to Italy on Fridays may result in traffic jams, so plan your time accordingly.
I really like this company. They come across as very professional and careful, the cars are all in excellent condition, and they handle any issues really well.
Very easy to locate. First of all, the airport is not large, and just outside the door in the nearby building is the car rental hall with several brands clearly marked. The staff were very welcoming. Having been to Europe several times, I must say the young lady who assisted us this time was genuinely very nice. After completing the paperwork, the parking lot is directly in the building's upper level. The person assisting in the parking lot was also a young lady, which is not common in my many car rental experiences in Europe—it’s usually older men or women. The local Italian young people provide good service. We weren’t too keen on the car they initially offered, but they allowed us to choose another car of the same class on the spot. The car’s condition was excellent.
Picking up and returning the car was super convenient, and they even upgraded the car for free. Just waiting to confirm if there will be any unreasonable charges.
Pick-up was super quick and efficient. We actually got a newer, upgraded car than the one we booked online. The car was in excellent condition, very fuel-efficient, and really easy to drive with strong power and stable handling. The staff were friendly with no hard selling at all. Both pick-up and return were hassle-free – just hand over the keys and you’re done. The parking area is spacious, very close to the station, and easy to find with Google Maps.
Pickup was just outside Verona airport on the left when you exit. I first tried to use an embassy-certified translation of my license, but the counter said they needed an IDP “white booklet” (not the Chinese one, but looks like they prefer the white booklet, plus translation + notarization + apostille). I pulled up the official explanation from the embassy website and asked to speak with the manager; after they checked and searched, they made an exception and let us take the car.
We got a Citroën Aircross, basically brand new with just over 6,000 km. It had a rearview camera, lane/speed/collision warnings, wireless charging, etc. No spare tire but there was a tool kit.
The rental car lot roads and exit are quite narrow, so be extra careful when driving out.
They didn’t push any extras, just asked if we wanted Telepass at €25 per day, and reminded us the car only came with basic insurance from the rental company (we’d bought full coverage separately on the platform). We paid the one-way drop-off fee on the spot.
Overall, everything went pretty smoothly.
Really friendly staff and super fast pick-up. They just asked if I already had insurance and didn’t try to hard-sell their own. I’d originally booked a VW T-Roc, but they first gave me an EV. I wasn’t happy with that, asked for a petrol car instead, and they immediately switched it to a Volvo XC60 that was basically brand new. Drove really comfortably. We returned the car after 10 pm; the desk told us they have staff there until 11 pm, and if no one’s around you can just drop the key in the box by their office door. Drop-off was smooth and hassle-free.
