Very good, although it took a bit of effort.

It felt okay overall, and people in Sydney seemed generally nicer than those in Melbourne. I got a free upgrade to a Mitsubishi Outlander when picking up the car, but during the inspection, I noticed a nail in the tire. They replaced it with a Nissan X-Trail instead. When returning the car, I was worried that their 8 AM opening time might be too late, so I followed the instructions at their office to return the car at the Andrew parking lot next door, only to find they charged me AUD 45. I was speechless, but the service itself was fine. In hindsight, waiting for Apex to open and returning it there would have made no difference in reaching the airport on time. I suggest choosing basic insurance and then upgrading to full coverage for AUD 349 at the car rental location—the total cost is roughly the same. PS: Roadside assistance will cost AUD 250 regardless of the situation. Parking fines are very expensive, so make sure to follow traffic rules and check the signs!

It was a very pleasant car rental experience. After landing at the airport, the directions to the pickup point for the car rental company were a bit unclear, so we ended up asking for directions to find it. Other than that, everything was perfect—they provided a free child safety seat and even gave us a phone holder.

Since it's a local car rental company, the prices are relatively affordable. Although the rental locations are generally not inside the airport, we still found pickup and drop-off very convenient.

We arrived in the afternoon, there was no queue, and we got the car quickly.

Extremely satisfied! On the day we went to the South Island, there was heavy snow in the mountains. We rented a compact car, and the staff at the store kept reminding us to be cautious. In the end, they even provided us with snow chains for the car free of charge (normally priced at 4 NZD per day).

Overall, I am very satisfied because they provided a Volkswagen SUV. The vehicle was in excellent condition, the engine noise was minimal, and it had good climbing capabilities.

Staff were friendly and very helpful, even providing an umbrella in Wellington at our drop-off as it was pouring.
