If I had another chance to choose, I would never rent this MG3. From now on, all MG models are on my blacklist. The suspension is unbelievably bad. The front windshield and side windows have no sun protection at all; renting this means suffering.
The actual car provided was an Audi Q2, in excellent condition with only 20,000 kilometers driven. The car was very easy to drive and performed flawlessly throughout the entire trip, featuring advanced technology.
I rented a Toyota Prado but ended up with a Ford Everest. The return instructions were inaccurate, leading the navigation to the P7 parking building entrance while the actual return location was elsewhere.
The car provided was perfectly suited for my long road trip since they knew I needed it for an extended period. Returning the car was incredibly quick—before I even finished taking pictures, the process was already completed, and I was informed everything was fine. The car was then moved nearby for cleaning and washing. The mobile navigation system connected directly to the car, which was very convenient. The vehicle had various alerts, such as speeding, speed limits, turning, eye focus, and rest reminders.
Picking up the car was also very quick. I got a nearly brand-new car, less than a year old, in decent condition. The previous driver might have frequently driven in mountainous areas since the full tank range showed 460 kilometers with a fuel consumption of around 10 liters per 100 kilometers. In my actual use, the fuel consumption was just 6 liters per 100 kilometers, and the full tank range displayed was around 570 kilometers.
The highway tolls were processed directly, with a small service fee charged per transaction, roughly 1.5 AUD.
The rental company is an Australian local brand with very new vehicles. The process is simple, and there is no upselling. I will choose them again next time I visit Australia. Highly recommended!
It was okay. They secretly added insurance without any explanation or agreement, and I only found out when they charged me after returning the car. Fortunately, QEEQ's customer service communicated promptly, and when the rental company refused to refund, QEEQ refunded the amount to me.
