The No birds - Mascot car rental location is located out of the airport

You can arrive of No birds - Mascot car rental by free shuttle bus.

After arriving at Sydney Airport, please collect your luggage first and call +61 447 249 065 to contact the staff. Then proceed to the designated shuttle pick-up area and look for the white mini-bus with yellow No Birds signage. The transfer to the Mascot pickup location takes approximately 5–10 minutes. For Domestic Airport passengers (T2/T3), please proceed to the P3 Car Park area: from T3 (Qantas), walk about 5 minutes to the left; from T2 (Virgin/Jetstar), walk about 5 minutes to the right. For International Airport passengers (T1), please go to Mini Bus Bay 22, about 200 meters to the right of the terminal, opposite Rydges Hotel, passing McDonald's and Qantas Domestic Transfers on the way. Please note that the shuttle service does not operate on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Good Friday.

The day before, I went to the car rental office to change the pickup time. The female manager I met was very helpful and assisted me in modifying the pickup time. However, the next day when I went to pick up the car, the male clerk proceeded to add full insurance (14 AUD/day, cheaper than QEEQ) without my consent. I repeatedly said I didn't need it, but he insisted on selling it. This was my first time encountering such a situation in Australia after renting cars multiple times. He then gave me a car with some chips on the front windshield. When I pointed them out, he refused to note them down on the pickup form, claiming they were minor issues. Given that he had just added the full insurance without my permission, I no longer trusted him. Fearing I might be charged during the return, I insisted on speaking to the manager on duty and got a brand-new car instead. Throughout the rental process, apart from that male clerk (whose staff name seems to start with 'A', but I couldn’t see clearly), everyone else was great. The car was new and fully equipped. Overall, this is a good car rental company.

Highly recommended! The car was very new, with just one to two thousand kilometers. Among all the cars I've rented, this company had the lowest insurance rate. You can add it at the store for only $14 per day, but I didn’t add it because I felt confident. Even without additional insurance, the deductible was just $1,000, which is extremely cheap. The return process was very simple and hassle-free, and the staff were warm and friendly. I returned the car at night, and the refund was already being processed by the bank the next day.

The cars are relatively new, with mileage around 20,000 km. All models are white (no choice available). When picking up the car, I noticed many locals renting as well, and I've seen the cars frequently on city streets (their markings make them easy to identify). The price is quite affordable, but there are some restrictions: Key point 1: Driving is allowed only within NSW and not across states. Key point 2: There’s a mileage limit of 200 kilometers per day. They’ll check the mileage upon return and charge for any excess. A minor issue occurred—the front tire pressure was low on the second morning, but it was resolved at the car shop within 10 minutes.
