The whole process was really quick and hassle‑free.

Pretty decent overall.

Rented a car at Christchurch Airport and was helped by a friendly Chinese guy. Pickup and return were super smooth, and we even got a free upgrade on the car.

Everything went really smoothly. The front desk lady was from Hong Kong and she was incredibly nice, spoke really clearly and calmly, and walked us through how to put on the snow chains in great detail. They even had an instructor help us get comfortable driving a right-hand drive car. Overall it was an awesome experience. The car was very new and clean, and the Mitsubishi was super fuel-efficient. Really impressed.

They charged 80 NZD to rent snow chains, while other rental companies only asked around 25 NZD. When I brought it up afterwards, they just said I’d already agreed to the price so I had to accept it. It really doesn’t feel like a fair way to do business.

Pick-up and return were both pretty smooth. No pushy upselling either—they just asked once if I wanted extra roadside assistance, I said no, and that was it. Super convenient overall. The car itself was big and roomy, really comfortable to ride in, and it was basically brand new with under 8,000 km on it, so big thumbs up! Only downside is the fuel consumption—just over 10L per 100 km, so not exactly economical.

Absolutely delighted with the whole experience

Rented a car in New Zealand through QEEQ and went with EZU, and the whole experience blew past my expectations. Pick-up and drop-off were super efficient, and the staff were warm, patient, and took the time to clearly explain local traffic rules and road conditions, which made me feel really at ease. The car was almost brand new, spotless inside, in excellent condition, and drove smoothly the whole way with zero issues, which really enhanced our South Island trip. Returning the car was quick and easy, and the service stayed genuinely friendly from start to finish. Next time I’m in New Zealand I’ll choose EZU again without a second thought, and I’ll definitely recommend them to my friends.
