This was my first time renting a car in New Zealand, driving through the South Island from the central route to the eastern route. Over 9 days, I drove more than 1500 kilometers and was very satisfied overall. The hybrid vehicle was fuel-efficient and provided an excellent driving experience, even better than my own gasoline car. Andrew, the staff member at the shop, was extremely helpful and patiently explained everything. He even recommended a local weather forecast app and quickly assisted in answering my questions about snow chains.

The organization is quite good, but the wait time at the airport to get to the rental station was a bit long.

Overall very satisfied, great value for money.

Advertised one thing, delivered another. Be cautious when booking—reserved a Prado but got an Isuzu. The driving experience was disappointing!

The car was scratched by a third party, who was fully responsible. We reported to the police and followed the proper procedures. However, the store still forced us to pay a repair fee of $3600 upfront and charged a 3.5% service fee. Later, the full insurance from the rental platform reimbursed the repair fee but did not cover the service fee. We ended up spending an extra 500 RMB!

The shuttle service is very convenient, and the explanation is detailed and enthusiastic.
