I rented an SUV Corolla but was given a standard Corolla. At 10 PM, my car had a flat tire. I called for roadside assistance and waited for almost 90 minutes. The tow truck team couldn't locate me and left, saying they wouldn't come back and I had to deal with it myself! Abandoned in the middle of the night!
Overall satisfied. The staff's service attitude was great, business transactions were handled efficiently, and the waiting time was short. After refusing other services introduced, the staff didn't make things difficult and promptly completed the procedures.
It was average, the experience wasn't great. Initially, an Indian lady assisted us, but she was quite indifferent. Later, a Chinese staff member helped us. She first tried to sell us insurance, but when we told her we had already purchased full coverage in our home country, she asked us to choose between a Hyundai and a Kia. I had booked a Hyundai, and since the two cars are different in size, I insisted on getting the Hyundai.
The staff were very friendly and responsive to all questions. However, there seemed to be some issues on the day, as the shuttle service for picking up the car was significantly delayed. Additionally, the driver was new and unfamiliar with the route, taking the wrong roads, which resulted in a 3-hour delay for the car pickup. When I returned the car to the store, I was told I could be shuttled to the airport as long as I returned the car on time. But later, when I called, they asked me to arrange my own transportation and send a photo of the receipt for reimbursement. However, I have not received the refund until now.
Very satisfied. As soon as we left Melbourne Airport, a shuttle bus picked us up. The driver helped with the luggage and chatted with us along the way. The service was thoughtful. At the rental office, the process was simple; they just asked a few questions before handing over the keys. The pickup location was convenient—find the designated car on the fourth floor of the parking lot and you're ready to go.
The service attitude was fine, but the car model was swapped and the vehicle's condition was average. It was barely acceptable. The wheel alignment hadn't been done, causing the steering wheel to veer right—this wouldn't be much of an issue for experienced drivers. The insurance terms were unreasonable; if you didn't purchase additional insurance, any damage would cost AUD 5500, which felt more like a betting agreement.
