Overall the rental company was pretty good. They do a really thorough inspection when you return the car, so I’m glad I took photos when I picked it up – that really helped avoid any disputes.

Overall the rental went pretty smoothly. Just be aware the staff will try to upsell you insurance without really pointing it out, so make sure you double-check the prices before confirming anything. We booked two identical cars—one of them was brand new but kept showing a low engine oil warning. After calling QEEQ, they arranged for us to get a liter of oil topped up for free at another city location. Later we realized our London inbound and outbound flights were from different airports and had to change the drop-off location. QEEQ handled it well and the service stayed great. They’re still my first choice for overseas car rentals.

This was my second time renting from this company because my first experience was great, so I came back. I originally booked a Yaris, but when I picked up the car they gave me a Nissan JUKE instead. You could call it a small upgrade, but honestly it didn’t feel like a great deal. The fuel consumption was around 6.5L/100km, which is not terrible and probably better than many cars, but compared with the MG3 I rented from them last time—under 4L/100km—it’s a big difference. If you rent from them, I’d recommend asking for a hybrid in the same class when you pick up the car; the fuel economy will really surprise you. Another big plus is their fuel policy: if you return the car with less fuel, they only charge £1 per litre—yes, just £1, with no extra fees. Really good value for money.
