Then they upgraded my car, and it turned out to be almost brand new with only about 500 km on it. Returning the car was super quick too — they did a quick walk-around, said everything was fine, and I was done in under 10 minutes. The deposit refund was impressively fast, it hit my account the next day. I checked the breakdown and the difference matched the highway tolls exactly, so there were no hidden charges. I’d originally been worried about surprise fines or penalties, but there were none.
