After communicating with the staff, they allowed us to pick up the car at 9 AM and return it at 9 AM. Although we reserved a Peugeot 3008, they gave us a SEAT instead. The car had enough space—it fit a 30-inch suitcase, two 20-inch suitcases, three carry-on bags, and a large carton, which was quite impressive. Last year, we rented a 3008 and were given a 308. My husband, who was the driver, said the SEAT felt less powerful compared to the 308. The car was quite new, with only around 8,000 kilometers on it. It was a gasoline vehicle and consumed more fuel, but everything else was fine. We purchased full insurance separately, which cost 535 euros for 10 days. It was expensive, but it gave us peace of mind.

      Thumbs up for Milan Airport Europcar! The process was simple and efficient. Although I prepared thoroughly and was cautious, there was actually no need for extra measures. At the branch, you first get a number at the self-service kiosk and wait for your turn (no need to stand in line). When called, just present Europcar's official booking number (turns out you only need Europcar's number, not the booking platform's number). Since we purchased the full insurance from Europcar in advance—which is the highest level of coverage—the process was streamlined. For example, the car company only charged a €100 deposit pre-authorization (according to Europcar's terms, full insurance only requires €100 deposit; I had printed this detail out but didn’t need to show it). They directly handed over the car keys and let you pick up the car from the garage, skipping the vehicle inspection process (though I still took a video of the car just in case, but it ended up being unnecessary). In the garage, a staff member saw I had the car keys and told me I could simply drive away. The vehicle damage was already clearly documented in my agreement, and my insurance covered any possible damages without requiring compensation from me. I asked, 'So easy?' and he replied, 'Yes.' Indeed, everything was very easy. I drove off with the car, and navigation apps like AutoNavi worked perfectly well in Europe. Returning the car was self-service; just park in the designated return area and drop the keys into the return box. It was much more straightforward compared to rental companies in China. When driving to Switzerland, as a highway pass was needed, we bought one and stuck it to the car window. Future renters of this car will get to use it for free. Within 24 hours, I received the Europcar bill, which only charged €40+ for taxes. The rental experience ended smoothly. Starting from Milan, we visited France, Switzerland, and finally returned to Italy. It was a very pleasant car rental experience—absolutely Nice!

If you purchase insurance through the platform, they won't force you to buy additional insurance, but they charge a very high deposit. This is not just with this company; I have noticed the same issue with several others. This company, however, has an additional issue: they charge a €36 cleaning fee if the car interior is a bit dirty upon return. This is the first time I've encountered this, and it doesn't feel great. The car was in decent condition, and the driver quickly came to pick me up from the airport after my call. However, just as I was about to finish the rental process, the staff informed me that I must return the car in the same clean condition as when I picked it up, or they'd charge a cleaning fee. It was only about ten euros, so I paid without thinking much about it, but the more I thought about it later, the angrier I got. I've been renting cars for over ten years, and this is the first time I've encountered such a charge. Generally, unless the car is excessively dirty, no cleaning fee is charged.       This is a small car rental company, and one person handles everything from reception to car pickup and return inspection. The service attitude was okay, and there was no hard-selling of additional products. I booked a Volkswagen Polo but received a Toyota Yaris with over 50,000 kilometers on it. That wasn't a big deal, but the car's exterior had about ten noticeable scratches and dents, which made the initial inspection quite tedious. When returning the car, the staff discovered a new dent on the front passenger door. I checked, and indeed there was one, but I didn't hit anything during the entire trip. How this dent occurred is a mystery to me. Even after reviewing the video from the pickup, it didn't appear to have been recorded. I had no choice but to accept it and anticipate being charged over 400 euros. My advice is, if budget allows, go for a large car rental company. On my previous trip in France, I rented from Europcar, returned the car simply by leaving the keys in the drop box, and it was done. The key advantage was that their cars were newer (only around 3,000 kilometers), saving time and hassle!

      非対人鍵なしのレンタカーと言う事を知らずに予約しました。アプリを自分の携帯にダウンロードし、その中に必要書類を登録。その後、車の所在地を写真付きで送られてくるのでその場まで自力で探し足を運び鍵を開け乗車。 有料のパーキングに駐車してあるので手続きに時間はかけない方がいい。 更に携帯操作に自信のない方はこの会社と契約しないほうがいい。 そして、レンタル中は携帯で全て操作するので充電が無くならないように気をつけなくてはいけない。 観光地の殆どの駐車場は鍵がないと預かり拒否されるので路上駐車を選択しなくてはなりません。 路上駐車はぶつけられるリスクが高く危ないので避けた方がいいと思いますが、やむを得ず駐車してかすり傷をつけられてしまいましたが720EURの請求がきました。 そしてアプリをダウンロードした携帯を車中に半日置いておくとバッテリーが上がり動かなくなります。 車内の緊急ボタンも反応しません。 車の取扱説明書や契約書等も車中にありません。 やっと連絡がとれたとしても不親切な対応でした。とても不愉快なスタッフです。値段が安いからと安易に申し込み契約をしてしまうと後からの請求額に驚きます。もうこの会社で借りようとは思いません。

      I was really frustrated that on my booking it showed the car company was In the airport terminal and it was NOT. I waited AN HOUR for the company to send the shuttle service, I had to call several times each time I was told they were on their way. It was only 10 minutes away yet I waited an hour! The way back I waited half an hour for the shuttle to come. Other than that they were very good.

      Upon picking up the car I was advised I needed to pay 1000 euros deposit vis a credit card, which I do not have, so instead I was compelled to pay 130 euros for fully comp insurance that I did not want, meaning my great deal was in fact, terrible. The staff were rude and the car was downgraded from the reserved 'Golf or similar'

      We never got our rental car since Rhodium sold it over to Goldcar company and Goldcar said they dont have car for us and we should call Rhodium and when we called Rhodium they never picked up the call. With long flight and a small baby with us it was horrible time at the airport.

      The car was as requested, a few little scratches but overall very good. The counter staff on pick up and drop off were excellent. The sales counter staff however weren’t are letting you down. Poorly signed Rhodium branding within Goldcar signage isn’t easy to spot. The sales counter staff were then too pushy over insurances that I already had. Oh and thanks for offering me insurance initially at €230 then reducing this to €180 when I turned it down the first time, that really is just unprofessional and takes me for a fool. Once I had turned down the insurance I was treat like an inconvenience and moved on quickly without a lot of instruction on what to do next. Very poor

      After walking some distance from the terminal with 3 young children to collect my car I arrived at the service desk. there were two people om the desk for four rental companies. It was unclear where to queue so as only one customer was being served i showed the other person my agreement to be told know you must queue behind this person as this is the line for firefly. The person in front was having trouble with their credit card authorisation. when i finally got to the front a gentleman came and stood behind me. I was then rudely asked to step to one side as the customer had already been served and the desk clerk wanted to know what the issue was. He then informed her that the car that the damaged she had marked on the car was incorrect and in fact there was far more damage and he wanted this noted and signed for not that i can blame him but i thought to myself surely he could of sorted this after myself had been served as i had three young children with me. Finally got served and was offered a choice of 3 cars Nissan Duke, Volkswagen Golf, Fiat 500 crossover. None of these were the full size car that was advertised as a ford fusion. I had two large suit cases with me and asked well what has the most boot space. The desk clerk couldn't tell me so asked another colleague who advise the golf would be the best option. They also tried to upsell me the full package insurance but i showed them i had purchased full access insurance in the UK. i was given directions to take the lift up and my car would be located in the hertz lot just outside the lift. This was not the case and i had to trudge through different lots trying to find this. To say it reminded me of a scene from trains, planes, and automobiles is an under statement. I also noticed far more scratches, bumps, and dings on the car than were indicated but was told just to take pictures if there was an issue. On returning the car i was advised there was a €159.00 Euro fee to pay something of which i was not advised.

      During the peak summer season, AVIS showed no available cars for rent, but we managed to find one here, which wasn’t easy. Before leaving Milan Airport, we contacted the rental company, and they said they would send a car to pick us up and take us to the rental point, saving us the hassle of dragging our big bags there ourselves. At the pickup point, we discovered that AUTOONE and SURPRICE were operating together. When we later received the confirmation email, it was under AUTOONE’s header, so I guess they are sister companies. There were two staff members handling the procedures on-site. We waited about ten minutes before it was our turn to process the rental. After adding full insurance and paying for cross-border driving at the counter, we received a car slightly larger than the one we had reserved—a white SEAT Arona. The whole pickup process took about ten minutes. (Unfortunately, the later survey options didn’t allow us to select the actual car we got.) For the return, since we had full insurance, as long as the tank was full, they quickly verified the vehicle and completed the return process.
