The service of the Italian car rental company is acceptable. They don't accompany you during pickup, but the vehicle inspection is very thorough.

This is the third time renting a car from them—once in Rome and twice in Milan. All experiences were great.

We originally booked pickup and drop-off at 10 AM, but we arrived earlier after clearing customs and went to the rental store. After communicating with the staff, they allowed us to pick up the car at 9 AM and return it at 9 AM. Although we reserved a Peugeot 3008, they gave us a SEAT instead. The car had enough space—it fit a 30-inch suitcase, two 20-inch suitcases, three carry-on bags, and a large carton, which was quite impressive. Last year, we rented a 3008 and were given a 308. My husband, who was the driver, said the SEAT felt less powerful compared to the 308. The car was quite new, with only around 8,000 kilometers on it. It was a gasoline vehicle and consumed more fuel, but everything else was fine. We purchased full insurance separately, which cost 535 euros for 10 days. It was expensive, but it gave us peace of mind.

I was very satisfied with the entire rental process this time. It's much better than the previous experience with Hertz, which randomly charged extra fees. The car return process was also promptly inspected in person!

Overall service is satisfactory, but the key considerations are whether the deposit is refunded promptly and if there are any hidden charges.

The car provided was a 40,000 km nearly new vehicle. They proactively reminded me to take photos and videos for records. Very satisfied with their service attitude.

Overall, the vehicle was decent, but the return location entrance was hard to find. The staff service was poor. When asking for help, they mentioned it was right next door but didn't explain how to drive to the store entrance. The staff responsible for returns didn't provide assistance and asked me to scan and search on Google Maps by myself.
