I upgraded my car to a bigger and the counter staff was more than willing to cooperate. Not many people on pickup because its still early. Car was not washed before pick up but not too dirty. I sent the car while the drop off point is still closed. Overall experience was good.

We arrived at the AVIS store at Milan Malpensa International Airport around noon local time. The AVIS store was already quite busy with many customers. When it was our turn, the staff member initially seemed satisfactory, but her attitude changed dramatically after she learned we were not purchasing additional insurance. She started to mess with us by switching the car keys we had originally received for another set. Only after we reached the parking lot did we realize that the second set of keys was for a 5-seat car, whereas we had booked a 7-seat car. We returned to the store to raise our objection, but while she saw us waiting behind her current customer, she proceeded to serve the next customer instead of addressing our issue immediately. Eventually, we found what we assumed to be the store supervisor and explained our situation to him. This supervisor, upon seeing our order and the car keys, understood immediately and asked the staff member to rectify the issue. Although we did finally receive the keys to a 7-seat car, the staff member was notably slow and dissatisfied (even though we didn't understand Italian, dissatisfaction needs no translation). She even had to step out to get the keys (was that really necessary?). We had to approach the supervisor multiple times to inquire and understand the situation. Ultimately, the whole process delayed our car pickup by at least an hour and a half.

I booked a car on the Zuzuche website and paid the full amount. However, when I got to the store, there was no car available. They took advantage of my lack of language skills (I only speak Chinese and a few words of English) and asked me to pay an additional 531.44 euros under the guise of an upgrade. After swiping my card, I felt something was wrong (fortunately, I hadn't signed their receipt) and immediately called Zuzuche to correct the order. But I still don't know if the money that AVIS charged me can be refunded, even though the Zuzuche agent said it would be based on the actual payment (I added an extra day to my reservation).

They gave us a very beaten-up Renault. Initially, they tried to provide us with a 5-seater which we rejected! We specifically stated that we didn’t need any insurance, yet they charged us over 390 euros for so-called insurance. There was no paper contract; we were asked to sign on a very small screen. I've rented cars in Italy many times but still got tricked!

Do not rent from Avis, they take advantage of customers. The car provided was seriously different from the one booked. Booked a Toyota, got a JEEP instead, and the fuel consumption was extremely high. Booked a gasoline car, got a hybrid instead, but using the hybrid as a gasoline car resulted in small tank capacity and high fuel consumption. I felt like I was always either refueling or on the way to refuel. The car's condition was poor as well; the car they gave me had a big dent that wasn't repaired but still rented out.

Very average experience. Since I needed to drive to another country, I purchased full insurance at the Milan Airport location. However, it was a rip-off—on the first day they said it was 60 EUR, but by the third day when picking up the car, it had increased to 75 EUR per day. The staff had a terrible attitude, and it felt like robbery. Even with full insurance and returning the car with a full tank, they couldn't refund the deposit promptly.

I initially wanted to rent a German car, so I chose the VW T-Cross through Avis. In the end, after asking repeatedly, they said it was unavailable, and I had to pick between two options—the Jeep Renegade or another model I had never heard of. Well, when I arrived at the parking lot and found my car parked next to the Jeep, it turned out to be a T-Cross (not the one shown in the pictures). In that moment, I was overwhelmed with frustration.
Anyway, I still had to focus on driving. My planned journey was around 3 hours, covering approximately 300 kilometers. Let me first mention the advantages of this car—it runs, it can connect to Bluetooth, and driving it feels like handling a small truck, which is quite a unique experience. As for the downsides, it's hard to put into words. I hope to have better luck next time. Done.

When picking up the car, I told her I had purchased QEEQ insurance; she didn't say much. She also showed me which parts of the car had scratches and marked them on the diagram. During the inspection, I found a few small scratches on the door that weren't marked and informed the staff. He said it was fine as long as I took photos. When returning the car, it was very dirty inside and out due to the rain. QEEQ reminded me that cleaning was required, so I was initially worried they might charge me. However, the staff took a quick look and said everything was fine. Not long after, they canceled the €236 deposit on my credit card.

An extremely terrible experience! The rental car was covered in numerous dents and scratches, but none of them were marked on the pick-up document. What’s even more absurd is that when returning the car, the staff asked me to show the photos I took during pick-up. After reviewing them, they found one area I hadn’t photographed and claimed that damage was caused by me! They immediately charged over 1000 euros directly from my credit card. Absolutely ridiculous!

Extremely disappointing. We originally booked a Ford with calculated trunk capacity, but they gave us an Alfa that couldn't fit everything. When we contacted Zuzuche customer service, they said we could upgrade for an additional cost. After discussing with the store, they said upgrading wasn't possible and we could only cancel and rent directly at the store. They kept reminding us we only had a few minutes left to cancel for free. We ended up renting a Peugeot 5008 at the store for 2615.7 euros, but Zuzuche refused to refund the original payment. When we asked customer service, they said it was an upgrade based on the original order. Seriously? This is so frustrating. The entire trip was spent dealing with disputes. I really don't know how that customer service agent does their job—they couldn't even handle basic communication, which resulted in us paying twice for just one car.
