BUDGET CAR RENTAL REVIEWS IN NEW ZEALAND

Efficient service, super convenient, and the car was in great condition.

The whole process was super straightforward.

They’ll try to upsell you a bit, but just say no and you’re fine.

Super quick and efficient service.

Everything was quick and easy, from pickup to drop-off.

Super convenient and hassle-free.

Everything went smoothly and the car was practically brand new.

Even though we didn’t speak the same language, the staff stayed really patient and tried their best to help.

Really happy with Budget – the service was great, the car they gave us was smart, compact and almost brand new. The staff, especially the young ladies at the counter, were super friendly and easy to talk to. The only downside was the engine struggled a bit on those 30° hills in Queenstown. Both pickup and drop-off were really easy to find though.

Pick-up was quick and smooth, and the staff took their time to patiently explain everything about the car.

What I wasn’t happy with: the snow chain rental was ridiculously expensive. Back home you can buy a set for about 100 RMB, but here it’s 23 NZD (around 92 RMB) just for one day. The pricing really doesn’t make sense and feels like a rip-off. I rented them for 7 days, the weather was good so I never used them, and I basically threw away 680 for nothing.

Renting the car was super easy, returning it was just as smooth, and driving it was a real pleasure. The car was nearly brand new and handled really well.

They handled my issue really quickly.

Really good overall, no complaints at all.

Super happy with everything

Pickup was super quick and smooth.

Really good overall, staff were super friendly. The only downside was they clearly had the car type I booked, but still gave me a different MPV. Apart from not getting the exact car I wanted, everything else was great.

Really hassle-free.

Very professional service.
