Service was great and everything was handled really efficiently.

We rented a car in downtown San Francisco. Our original pickup was booked for Sunday at 11:00 a.m., but we got delayed and didn’t make it there until 2:00 p.m., only to find the Hertz downtown office already closed. We immediately contacted QEEQ customer service and they helped us cancel the original booking smoothly, then quickly arranged another car at a different location within a 10‑minute walk. The car model wasn’t exactly what we’d reserved, but it was still very good. The main thing was the service—fast, helpful, and very convenient.

The big rental company was actually pretty decent overall.

I’ve rented cars overseas many times, and this was by far my best experience with Alamo. From picking up at the branch to the shuttle back to the airport, every staff member was genuinely five-star—no hard-selling at all. The car was in great condition, they even upgraded me. I used to think Hertz was the best, but now I’d pick Alamo instead.

Not many people there so everything was handled pretty quickly. Staff were fine, nothing special, and most of them only speak English—just one or two can speak Mandarin.

Overall pretty good experience. The staff at pickup were really friendly, and their instructions in English were clear and easy to understand, so communication was no problem. There were no hidden fees; they just recommended adding an extra damage/repair insurance for about $9 a day, which covers minor scratches, scuffs, and tire replacement. For toll roads, make sure you ask exactly how the charges work—they said it’s deducted automatically, possibly with a small daily convenience fee.

The whole process was really straightforward and hassle-free.

AVIS was pretty efficient overall…queued about half an hour to pick up the car, but drop-off took less than 5 minutes.

When we picked up the car, there were only three people in line but just one staff member at the counter. Each customer took almost 10 minutes, so we still ended up waiting quite a long time.

Super easy to find the location—just follow the signs out of the airport and take the shuttle. The only downside was the wait: the line for pickup was a bit long, and the specific car I booked wasn’t available right away so I had to wait a little longer.

If you get into a minor scrape that doesn’t involve a third party, you can just report it online and you’re good to go.
