The car was good, a few little scuffs in addition to the ones they had marked on the document that I had to point out to them. The car was supposed to be full of fuel but there was no way of telling to be sure as the petrol indicator goes down in segments. and it showed full. 20 miles up the road and it went down a segment (quarter of a tank) so I estimate it was about 15 euros shorts - leaving me out of pocket as I filled it up twice (one half way through our two day hire and once on return). I told the receptionist on return and asked for a credit, but she refused saying there was no way of her knowing, that she has to rely on people bringing the car back full, if the guage says full then as far as she was concerned it was full - but I assured her it wasn't. I think the next time we have one of these cars with the digital fuel indicater I will check the petrol at the first petrol station that I come across to make sure, and then take it back the same. It's the only way to beat these people is to do the same as the last person who hired the car and that is cheat!. Other than that I have no other issues with Sicily By Car, the man on pick up was friendly and there was no issue with taking the car back with the usual dirt on it like you would on a two day car hire drive. Price on this occassion was good.

The location is excellent; it's actually the first one. I booked the cheapest manual car group, and they gave me a Mercedes Smart 4-door with a panoramic sunroof. It looks so cute and beautiful! It's a new car with only 7100 kilometers, very easy to drive and fuel-efficient. Great experience!!! The Italian lady who processed my order tried to sell me window and tire insurance as usual. Initially, I didn't understand because I had opted for comprehensive insurance with zero excess. As an experienced driver, I am confident in Italian security, so I didn't buy it. It wasn't expensive, about 58 euros, so it didn't really matter since my hotel had parking. When returning the car, they check it as usual. I was very careful, and Italy is quite orderly without any dangerous maneuvers, making the drive enjoyable! Renting a car for a self-driving tour in Italy was really enjoyable. At Milan Airport, the car rental company's office is on the first floor below the arrival hall, following the arrows. After completing the paperwork, they give you the key to pick up the car from the parking lot. The car was very clean. When returning, follow the signs for car hire, which are very clear. Slow down a bit to see them and follow the directions to Parking Lot B. Park in the same spot where you picked up the car, then walk a few steps to their office. The return process only takes about 5 minutes. I had bought a lot of mineral water that I didn't finish and left it for the rental company. The staff was very pleased. A small gift can be nice sometimes. This time, I was always careful to avoid illegal parking in Italy, and speeding was my only concern since everyone drives fast. However, driving at the speed limit might hinder other cars. If there were no violations, the trip would be perfect! They held a 400-euro deposit. It didn't seem like a pre-authorization because it wasn't released even after returning the car. I'll wait for up to a month to see if it's refunded. If not, I'll have to contact QEEQ customer service. Overall, this company is reliable for renting a car. Very professional!
