The car provided was an Opel Corsa, which was very fuel-efficient. There were significant scratches on the front and rear doors on the right side, but they did not affect functionality. The counter staff was extremely friendly and patient, providing detailed instructions. After being given the car key, I went to the parking lot to find the car myself. One issue worth mentioning is that the car condition report noted damage on the front and rear doors on the right side when I picked it up. As I was alone, I didn't check the wheels carefully. Fortunately, the video I recorded captured two large scratches on the two rims (why hadn't the rental company identified this earlier?). When returning the car, the staff requested proof of the wheel condition at the time of pickup. Luckily, I had the video evidence, so no compensation was needed. For vehicles with existing damage, make sure to inspect more carefully and take photos of every part as documentation.

Service from this company was absolutely spot on. The guy at the counter was funny, efficient, and really helpful. If you’re driving in Sicily, I’d strongly recommend getting full insurance—it saves you a lot of headaches. The car itself was great: really big, easily fit more than ten pieces of luggage. The best part was the black cover in the trunk that hides your bags so no one can see them from outside, which feels much safer. Only thing is, the car is huge—one of those long business vans—so you do need decent driving skills. Be extra careful in those tight, spiraling parking garages when you’re driving up or down.

The staff’s attitude wasn’t nearly as bad as some people online made it sound. The car we got wasn’t exactly the one we booked, but it was pretty much the same type. We added the full insurance from the rental company, so they barely checked the car when we returned it, and the whole drop-off process was super smooth.

The staff at the rental company were honestly amazing. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and all the paperwork was handled really smoothly. Even when their system went down that day, they switched to filling everything out by hand and still got it done really fast.

Both pickup and drop-off went smoothly. The customer service was very patient. We arrived early and asked if we could pick up the car earlier than scheduled and return it earlier as well. The representative actively negotiated with their manager and agreed to our request. We rented a small Japanese Toyota, and the car model we booked was available. The vehicle was relatively new, in good condition, and easy to drive. The pickup and drop-off locations were easy to find with GPS navigation. Overall, this was our first time renting a car for self-driving abroad, and the experience was excellent. QEEQ's platform made self-driving for overseas trips much more convenient—truly wonderful.

Service was pretty good. I booked pickup for 7pm, but my flight was delayed and I didn’t get there until after 11pm. Most of the other rental companies nearby were already closed, but this one stays open until midnight, so I didn’t miss my booking. I added AUTOVÍA’s own insurance on the spot, the second-tier full coverage (doesn’t include theft), which was €39 per day. I reserved a VW Golf but ended up with a T-Cross, a compact SUV, which was fine for driving around Sicily. The trunk only fits one 28-inch suitcase though, so any extra luggage has to go on the back seats.

At Catania Airport the rental area is easy enough to reach – if you arrive by train there’s a free shuttle, and even walking with suitcases is only about 200 meters. The location is big, with several brands all together. After the paperwork, though, there was no staff at the pickup area to walk us through the car – you just get in and drive off. Pay close attention to the fuel level: ours wasn’t completely full but we didn’t notice, so we filled it up on return and wondered why fuel cost so much for just a two‑day rental. Only then did we realize the tank wasn’t full at pickup, and we basically lost around 20€. Totally our fault for not checking the mileage and fuel carefully, so be careful about that. The car itself was a very new Škoda with good space and it was nice and easy to drive.
