The originally booked manual Ford Kuga was unavailable, so we upgraded to a brand new Peugeot 5008 automatic with built-in navigation for an additional 200 euros. The vehicle was in excellent condition, allowing us to drive across nine countries and thousands of kilometers without any issues. The car keys were handy—doors automatically locked when we stepped away.

Very good, but the front desk mentioned that this car can only be used in Northern Italy and not in Southern Italy.

Although I chose full insurance for peace of mind, the insurance provided by Zuzuche is underwritten domestically, not by the rental office. This led to extremely poor service from the staff, who were not only rude but also refused to provide the requested car model and insisted on aggressively upselling their own insurance. They even threatened that if the car was damaged, compensation would start at a minimum of €1500. When picking up the car, I noticed several XC60s parked there, which felt discriminatory. The worst part was being charged a late fee, something I've never encountered before. Our flight was delayed by an hour, and then we had to take a train from Cologne Airport to Düsseldorf Airport, causing a total delay of 1.5 hours. We were charged over €30 for late arrival.

The process of picking up and returning the car was seamless. There was no aggressive upselling of insurance, and the deposit was refunded on the spot. Overall, a great experience!

This was my first time renting a car from the Hertz branch in Frankfurt, and due to the crowd, I had to wait in line for about 30 minutes.

The car rental and return procedures were very convenient, but they charged a 680-euro deposit, and I don't know how long it will take to be refunded.

Parking fines cannot be paid online, and the staff on-site can't assist either, so you have to figure it out yourself.

The car's condition was poor, the fuel gauge was inaccurate, the Stop&Go function was erratic, and the built-in wireless CarPlay frequently failed and disconnected.
