They do try to upsell you a bit—suggesting a bigger car, pricier insurance, prepaying fuel and so on—but they’re not pushy about it. Just say no to everything if you’re not interested and it’s fine.

This rental was perfect, seriously have to give Alamo a shout-out. I originally booked an F-150, but they gave me a 2026 Silverado 1500 instead, and the best part was it was basically brand new – only 38 km on the clock, registered 2026-02-10, and I picked it up on the 14th. We happened to hit a big snowstorm in Ontario and I had a ton of luggage to haul, and the truck handled everything flawlessly. Great car, great rental company. Highly recommend – the Hyundai I rented from them last time was also a brand-new vehicle.

Overall, the whole rental experience was super smooth. The staff were really friendly and professional, and both pickup and return were quick and easy with almost no waiting at all. The car was in great condition, very clean, and I didn’t run into any issues while using it.

Super happy with it, the car was practically brand new with just over 3,000 km on it.
