The Ford ESCAPE was replaced with a Volkswagen TAOS. The car was very new and handled well. The staff kept trying to push other insurance options, but I refused, and they didn’t insist. It’s good to rent from a big company, even though it’s a bit expensive.

They do try to upsell you a bit—suggesting a bigger car, pricier insurance, prepaying fuel and so on—but they’re not pushy about it. Just say no to everything if you’re not interested and it’s fine.

The entire process was very smooth without any upselling. However, there were too few options for vehicles in the same group, and the car provided was relatively small. The hybrid vehicle was fuel-efficient and drove well, but the road noise was quite noticeable.
