MADRID–BARAJAS AIRPORT CAR RENTAL REVIEWS

Pretty good overall, they even have a self‑service app for booking cars.

The staff were really patient and friendly, and using a translation app made communication super easy.

When you pick up the car, check every little detail carefully. Don’t rush. Seriously, take your time—those extra 10 minutes are absolutely worth it.

I booked a gas car on QEEQ, but when we got to the counter the staff just looked at the booking and gave us an EV instead. After seeing it was electric, we went back and asked to change the car, but the guy refused, wouldn’t even look at the booking properly and had a pretty bad attitude, telling us to talk to his supervisor. We finally found the manager, showed him the reservation and he swapped it for a Renault gas car. Driving in Europe is still much more convenient with a petrol car—using an EV was really inconvenient.

Awesome rental company, really impressed with them.

Really thoughtful service and super easy to communicate with.

They gave me a MINI, and even though people always say it drives like a go-kart, this generation feels pretty average. It even feels kind of heavy when you’re actually driving it.

They’ll try to upsell you on insurance, but you can just say no. Overall the whole process was pretty smooth.

Really impressed with QEEQ. There was an issue when we arrived in Madrid in the middle of the night and the rental company wanted extra fees because communication wasn’t going well. QEEQ stepped in, coordinated everything and handled it nicely, and we ended up getting the car without any problems.

Super satisfied overall. The staff were really friendly, knew exactly what they were doing, and we actually got a 9-seat Mercedes instead of the 7-seat we booked. The car was in great condition—really smooth rental experience.

Super satisfied – everything was handled really efficiently.

Front desk service was really thoughtful, and they explained all the important details very clearly.

Service was pretty solid. The self-service return was a bit tricky at first, but I managed to figure it out in the end.

Really good.

I rented a car for a self-drive trip around Spain.

The rental company felt pretty big and legit.

The car they gave us was really new, but the tire pressure warning kept coming on. The staff insisted it was fine though.

Easy to find right after you walk out of the terminal, but the entrance for returns is tiny and we also had some communication issues.

It’s actually a bit far from the airport, but it’s really convenient from my hotel.
