      The car provided was perfectly suited for my long road trip since they knew I needed it for an extended period. Returning the car was incredibly quick—before I even finished taking pictures, the process was already completed, and I was informed everything was fine. The car was then moved nearby for cleaning and washing. The mobile navigation system connected directly to the car, which was very convenient. The vehicle had various alerts, such as speeding, speed limits, turning, eye focus, and rest reminders. Picking up the car was also very quick. I got a nearly brand-new car, less than a year old, in decent condition. The previous driver might have frequently driven in mountainous areas since the full tank range showed 460 kilometers with a fuel consumption of around 10 liters per 100 kilometers. In my actual use, the fuel consumption was just 6 liters per 100 kilometers, and the full tank range displayed was around 570 kilometers. The highway tolls were processed directly, with a small service fee charged per transaction, roughly 1.5 AUD.

      It felt okay overall, and people in Sydney seemed generally nicer than those in Melbourne. I got a free upgrade to a Mitsubishi Outlander when picking up the car, but during the inspection, I noticed a nail in the tire. They replaced it with a Nissan X-Trail instead. When returning the car, I was worried that their 8 AM opening time might be too late, so I followed the instructions at their office to return the car at the Andrew parking lot next door, only to find they charged me AUD 45. I was speechless, but the service itself was fine. In hindsight, waiting for Apex to open and returning it there would have made no difference in reaching the airport on time. I suggest choosing basic insurance and then upgrading to full coverage for AUD 349 at the car rental location—the total cost is roughly the same. PS: Roadside assistance will cost AUD 250 regardless of the situation. Parking fines are very expensive, so make sure to follow traffic rules and check the signs!

      Dislike: That there were hidden costs. We rented 2 cars and on the site stated no other costs. Upon pickup we had to pay bonds of $200 each plus insurance which costs over $500NZD. They don't take cash either. Wish we knew prior so we could leave cash in accounts rather than having cashed out all our spending then having to call home to transfer etc... delayed process and not good start to trip. ALL costs including bond etc.. should be mentioned.

      When I started looking on skyscanner, the deal was showing unlimited kms, when I went to carhood, they would not allow me even 20 more kms and they said they will not cancel the booking either and I will be losing my money. I was told pick up would be at 9, they came to pick up at 9:50. For almost an hour I was waiting out in cold for them to pick me up. I was going to take the car to Canberra for a meeting and hoping to leave at 9 in the morning, I eventually left at 11 because of everything with the booking and the rude behaviour of their staff. NEVER EVER booking through them again.
