Pretty satisfied overall.

Pickup was quick and hassle‑free, and the staff were really friendly.

The rental counter was super easy to find on the second floor of the airport, and there really wasn’t much of a line. The guy at the desk was very proactive and helpful. Since I rented an EV, he walked me through all the key things in detail—like how to charge it and which apps to use. Overall, the experience was really good.

The RAV4 was really spacious – perfect for four people, and the trunk had plenty of room for our luggage. Overall a great experience. Before setting off I only took photos of the body of the car; I really should’ve taken pictures of the wheels too. When we returned the car they found a small scratch on the rim that you’d barely notice, and I wasn’t sure if it was already there, but I still ended up paying 2,000. Luckily I’d bought insurance through QEEQ so it was fully reimbursed. There’s always uncertainty on the road, so I’d definitely recommend getting enough coverage before you drive.

Rented at Bergen Airport and dropped off in the city. This was the first rental place that didn’t push any extra add‑ons at all. When we returned the car, we were almost going to miss our train, so I asked if they could possibly give us a ride to the station. They didn’t even hesitate and immediately drove us there, which is the only reason we made the train—absolute lifesavers. I tipped them to say thanks. The car itself was in excellent condition!

They proactively knocked some money off because I picked up the car late, really nice of them.

I bought the insurance from Zuzuche and was worried the counter staff might try to push Avis’s own insurance, but none of that happened at all.

Almost no waiting in line, they just did a quick ID check, handed over the keys, and reminded us to take photos of the car to record its condition.

They gave me a nearly new car with just over 4,000 km on it and it drove great in every way. But after I returned it, they charged me three separate times and never provided any breakdown of the fees. That kind of lack of transparency is unacceptable to me. When I rent in the UK or Dubai, they always email a detailed invoice to the address on my contract.

The staff member was super professional and walked me through everything step by step. The whole process was really clear, and there was no annoying upselling or endless back-and-forth.
