Excellent value for money from EasyRentCars; poor customer service from Europcar.

the car rental was more than double what was quoted due to my late pick up .Europcar website says they hold the afford the whole day

Great communication - had a query, called the pick up location and all was explained prompt and efficient

Great, easy booking, good value for a short holiday, availability of a vehicle from an airport which is not central - had difficulty in finding a provider for pick up location, very happy that came across Easyrentcars.

It was overall a good experience, although it would have been helpful to have an introduction to the controls etc.

Getting through to the call centre is a nightmare. Being greeted with a request to email my query was not helpful or welcoming. My query was dealt with adequately.

Didn't push upgrade on insurance too much as we already have an excess annual policy

Like: Friendly and efficient staff; vehicle in good condition and excellent service on dropping off.
Dislike: I had ordered an automatic transmission vehicle but a manual transmission vehicle was allotted to me at pick-up. I came to know this until I got on the vehicle to check. It spent me another 30 minutes to wait for the change of vehicle and felt frustrated. I hope that Europcar would check the order carefully and the same thing would not happen to other customers again.
