Excellent service, especially with upgrade

I have rented many times with Europcar and service has always been excellent, they are my 'go to' rental company even when booking through booking platforms. The car I hired was great, as have all my previous cars hired with Europcar. I will certainly continue to use them on future trips as they are always excellent value and great cars.

Easyrentcars was a fine platform to rent through, no problems at all, and lots of info and ratings about the car rental companies! The app was good and I'd certainly consider using this app as a first choice in the future.

The gentleman behind the counter gave us a free upgrade a small SUV, because we had two booster seats. He explained everything and in turn I upgraded my insurance. I dont know his name, but the staff were great and understood that there was going to be four people in the car. Highly recommend.

Like: Friendly and efficient staff; vehicle in good condition and excellent service on dropping off.
Dislike: I had ordered an automatic transmission vehicle but a manual transmission vehicle was allotted to me at pick-up. I came to know this until I got on the vehicle to check. It spent me another 30 minutes to wait for the change of vehicle and felt frustrated. I hope that Europcar would check the order carefully and the same thing would not happen to other customers again.
