Overall experience was pretty smooth, but I didn't get the car I booked. I prefer the Volkswagen Golf I had reserved over the one I received.

I arrived in Venice at 10:15 pm and the employee at the pick up told me that, had I arrived after 11:00pm, I would have been charged of 45 Euros, a penalty that is not mentioned in the contract "since it doesn't happen often"! This is a very serious and unfair violation of a correct communication to the customers. I am not questioning the choice of the company about charging extra money for late evening pick-ups, I am greatly disappointed that the company doesn't mention it in the contract. I can't accept this way of behaving, I am not going to recommend Sicily by car if this lack of communication doesn't change.

All is great, except for the waiting time on the car pick-up. Without any exaggeration, I landed at 14:05, spent a lot of time at the passport control(my mistake), found the sicily by car counter at 15:25 and picked up the car at 17:50 so 2 hours and 25 min - this is really unacceptable.

Je n ai pas eu la voiture réservée sur Internet. J avais réserve un Opel Crossland (petit suv) et j ai eu une Peugeot 308. L Opel était pourtant bien présente sur le parking et je n ai pas compris pourquoi je ne l ai pas eue. L intérieur de la 308 n était pas propre. L essuie glace arrière avait été enlevé (Sans doute vole) et non remis.
