The rental company was pretty good. I arrived quite late but there were still several counters open and the paperwork was done really fast. The only thing is you have to go to the parking lot and pick a car yourself.

Arrived at the rental office around noon and completed the paperwork, but there were no cars in the parking lot. I was 10th in line and waited for over an hour, eventually getting a downgraded compact car. The staff said they would compensate with a full tank of gas. Considering California's high gas prices, it seemed fair enough, so I just took the car without making a fuss.

I was double billed (prepaid with QEEQ but billed again incorrectly by thrifty). Will now have to go through a process to have that charge reversed, which will take time I would Prefer not to spend doing on my vacation.

Booking platform is fine, but booking confirmations aren’t as convenient as they could be. Don’t show company you have booked with clearly or reservation # with car rental Agency. This should Be improved.
