Although there was a prepayment, they charged an additional 200 pounds later without providing an invoice or email notification. Despite having full insurance, they still added an extra insurance fee, as if the insurance provided by the rental car platform was not recognized by the rental company. The platform should refund my prepayment.

Since this trip involved five friends, we booked a larger station wagon several months in advance. Upon arrival, the rental company initially intended to give us a CLA, claiming it was the station wagon we had reserved. However, after we checked the official website and confirmed that the CLA station wagon belonged to a different category, they changed their stance and said they could refund the price difference but insisted that no other vehicles were available today. They presented a 'take it or leave it' option and left us stranded in the garage to walk back to their office on our own. After contacting customer service via the rental platform, we were informed that a V90 could be arranged within an hour (they even specified the model). After 45 minutes, we tried to communicate again with the same store staff, only to be told that there had been a system malfunction during the past hour, and we would have to wait another hour on the store's sofa. They assured us that the vehicle would be immediately available once ready. Another hour passed, and we had to walk back to the counter ourselves before the staff finally arranged the car keys for us.

They trick customers by giving you a GLE with less trunk space than a 90, and the tire has a bulge. I don't believe they wouldn't notice this during the inspection.

They kept pushing insurance sales despite us telling them we already bought full coverage through the platform. Then they acted rudely when we returned the car, claiming the scratches were caused by us. Fortunately, we showed them video evidence and managed to return the car smoothly.

I booked a gas-powered car, but was given an electric car when picking up. I requested a replacement and waited for over 4 hours to get the gas-powered car. The staff at the store were cooperative, but this is not how things should be handled. The store did not provide any compensation for this.

However, most websites start by saying that cars can be hired from £15 a day, which a big myth. £50 is closer to the truth. This is quite acceptable to me, so perhaps the websites can happily be more truthful! The staff at the National counter were very efficient, yet thorough.

Q-PARK is easy to locate, but there are no rental company signs after entering. Booked a Japanese car but received a four-wheel-drive American car. Driving performance was fine, but the fuel consumption was high with low endurance, requiring frequent refueling. The hybrid feature was practically useless. This is a British local company with high fees; they charged a £1500 deposit at pickup, which is five times that of SIXT. If any violations occur, the company charges a £75 service fee, nearly double SIXT’s charge. I won’t rent from this company again.

This was my first time renting a car in the UK and driving on the right-hand side. Driving in the Scottish Highlands with narrow roads took some time to get used to. The vehicle was in excellent condition. The staff handling pickup and return were efficient and straightforward, and the car was even upgraded!

Extremely dissatisfied. We felt deceived during the rental process. Despite no collisions occurring, we were told that the wheel rim damage was our fault and charged a staggering 4500 yuan as compensation. The amount feels excessive, and the basis for pricing is unclear! Anyone can see that this damage is clearly an old issue. Additionally, the actual vehicle provided did not match the one we reserved. When picking up the car, the staff didn't accompany us to inspect the vehicle; instead, they asked us to take the car ourselves, which raises serious doubts that this might have been a premeditated scam.

Ordered a transit van but given a Toyota Proace - significantly smaller and almost not fit for the purpose I hired for. Counter agent demanded I fill out a positive review of his service before giving me the van keys… only then to give me keys for a significantly smaller van than I ordered. Not impressed.

The hiring process was so slow and the condition of the hiring company offices is terrible. I had to wait for over an hour to pick up my car. The staff of this company were so rude. The condition of the car was so bad. There was an engine fault on the car and the guy told me to add some liquid to fix it which I did but the fault remained. The car only had quarter of fuel which so inconvenient. I will never book a car with easirent again. Terrible experience overall.

Excellent staff at the Europcar counter very friendly and helpful, processed quickly, location is good. Car was just awful I've hired and driven alot of cars and without question the Vauxhall Crossland X is the worst car I've ever driven, 3700rpm at 70mph in top gear thing was screaming, gearbox felt like it was outta Kombi, ratios are horrendous, terrible fuel economy and pretty sure it wasn't firing on all 4 cylinders.

Was upsold cover having being told that we risked large bills for any potential damage or extra mileage. Then read in paper that Gold Car polled a long way bottom of car hire companies - not suprised

Interrent and Goldcar are not located in terminal anymore! You should update your details as you have to.use shuttle bus to pickup the car. I spent more than 30mins to find it out.
