When I arrived in the evening, they told me there were no cars available, and they could only provide an electric vehicle. If I felt uncomfortable with that, I could come back the next morning to exchange it for a gas-powered car. When I told them in advance that I needed to drive this car 300 miles to New York, the electric vehicle only had a range of 230 miles. They were evasive when asked about the charging time and range details. The next day, when I went to swap the vehicle, they acted as though it was completely justified to have already closed the transaction for the electric car. It was only after asking for their manager that they reluctantly gave me a very worn-out Toyota Corolla. On top of that, they claimed the electric car wasn’t fully charged when returned and tried to impose additional charges.

Very bad! They overcharged! Waited two and a half hours to pick up the car at Los Angeles airport!

There were some hassles while renting the car, but returning it was very convenient. However, if you use the car for an extra day, you have to pay an additional day’s fee, which differs from what was written on the rental agreement. The agreement stated an extra day would cost $44, but when we inquired, we were told it would be $130.

Good location and service

Dislike: Thrifty would not let me take the car without an international driver’s license. I tried to call easy rent cars to cancel or change and was on hold for more than 30 minutes. I’m still waiting on refund from you. Thrifty was great. My experience with easy car was bad.
