It is recommended to have PERS coverage when using vehicle in cross border rentals for the US and Canada. The renter must have a valid driver's license and rental record to cross the border into Canada. Canadian law does require that everyone entering the country have a passport, so everyone in the vehicle must have the proper identification. The car was awesome and as expected and great value for money. It took over an hour to get my car, when my parents took Avis and took 10mins to get their car. Both Dollar and Thrifty are the same company and have the same car line. Not good and would go with another car company because of this. Drop off was great with an excellent lady that helped us out.

No issues with the car or the price however the car was filthy when I collected it. It hadn't been vacuumed, had rubbish and bits of food in it.
