The Hertz premises at Newcastle station are in a very inconvenient location on the wrong side of the station and at the foot of a steep street. Hertz’s competitors have offices on the station forecourt and are much more accessible. I was pleased to get a better car than I expected.

Hertz’s service is trustworthy and excellent! Quick pick up and drop off!Our car is upgraded to another model which more spacious for 6 people travel in group! Highly satisfied! The pick up staff fromLuton Airport branch is friendly, informative and helpful! The staff from dropoff branch -Victoria Stations was effective. Direction and information was cleared to return and park the car. Highly recommended!

The car was badly scored and dented and when I raised this with the Hertz staff member he said he knew and the vehicle had 36 items of damage listed. The pick up bus took over 30 minutes to pick us up from the airport and when I tried to call the Hertz number received an automated answer saying no one was available. When eventually we arrived at Manchester rental area the staff said they were sorry for the delay but had a member of staff off sick. Overall a very poor experience from Hertz which let down the Easyrental experience.
