Advantage,in my experience has always had well maintained & good cars. The check in person lied to me & said it would be snowing & I needed to upgrade my vehicle. It never snowed by entire time. Deceptive. Also he told me gas was $4 on outside prior to return & got me to pay $56 for a no fill up. Gas on the outside was $2.80. Deceptive. Will never believe reps again.

it was great no comments other than positive

Well started off waiting in line for almost 2 hours. Then they were out of the car I requested, so hot something I didn’t want. The car was so little could barely get luggage in. Car had a miss in transmission when cold, convertible top was very temperamental, and tires all needed air.

We were threatened by the girl who did the paperwork for the pick up. I did not realize that it only included one driver so we opted not to add that she said if my husband was caught driving he would go to jail for theft. Then when we mentioned going to California she tried to force us into buying a toll package she said there were hidden toll highways everywhere and no way to avoid them and each time it would cost us $50 - We chose not to get that either but instead register the rental through California Tolls- This experience affected the trip I have NEVER felt fearful driving a rental but this time the anxiety was high. We will NEVER use Advantage again.

Staff lied about what insurance was needed. First representative said we were at the wrong counter, couldn't find our reservation, second guy found it in two seconds, then lied and ripped us off with the insurance.

Pickup took 2 hrs extra. Due to that my whole trip got upset.
