The insurance is expensive, and sometimes the available cars are not complete.

They accepted our reservation payment but informed us at the store that they don’t accept Chinese driver’s licenses, which was very frustrating.

Despite having paid the full rental amount, I was told an hour late that the reserved vehicle was no longer available. They raised the price, forcing me to switch to a manual transmission car. Since all my travel plans were already set, I had no choice but to accept these unfair terms, which left a very bad impression.

The wait time while queuing for the car was very long, and the staff's efficiency needs improvement. We booked a BMW 2 Series, but they claimed it wasn't available and offered us a POLO instead, unless we paid extra for a different car. However, when we picked up the car, the BMW 2 Series was clearly parked next to the POLO, which felt deceptive. The car return location was also hard to find; we returned the car at Rome airport and drove around in circles before finally figuring it out with the help of airport staff. Overall, we will not rent from AVIS again.

Very satisfied. The rental procedure at the airport counter was very convenient. The provided FIAT BRAVO was almost brand new and had great handling.
