Absolutely great service

There was hardly any queue. Was told at pickup that upgrading to an automatic model would cost 15 euros per day, paid a 125 euro deposit with a card. After returning the car, I saw on the statement that I was charged 75.78 euros for 2 days! During the return inspection, they just asked me to sign without saying anything, and half an hour later I received a bank notification that 533.85 euros were charged. Went back to the return location to inquire and found out that I was inexplicably charged 547.56 euros for vehicle damage! I was very careful with the car and did not have any scratches!

Picking up and returning the car was very convenient, it took only a few minutes.

AVIS provides excellent service, and the pre-authorization amount is minimal. Usually, it's just the car rental fee plus a 90 Euro deposit. This time, we picked up the car at GARE; the service was great and very convenient. The only downside was that the Golf was rented out, so we got a Fiat 500L instead, which was less fun to drive...

Need to be better with customer care. Didn't tell us where to drop it off too. Covered in scratches and only showed us two on the paper work. Had to call them out to re inspect the car ana show them all the damage Then took money out of our account without permission and no reasoning
