You can walk to the counter of Avis - Nice Airport T2 car rental.

The car rental counter is located in the Terminal 2 Parking Garage. Terminal 1 Arrivals: Take the Car Rental Shuttle to Terminal 2. Terminal 2 Arrivals: Exit from gate 2 or gate 3, cross P5 and follow signs to the Car Rental Center. Proceed to our counter located on the ground floor.

Drop-off Instructions

Please proceed to Terminal 2, once at the airport area, pay attention to the "Car Rental Return" signs and enter through the car rental return car park entrance. Even before we decided whether to buy insurance, the staff were already really friendly. After we said we wanted full coverage, they were even nicer. We originally planned to just rent the car without insurance based on online advice and only buy full coverage when we got here, but the onsite full insurance turned out to be several hundred more expensive for five days than what we saw online. The upside is that all the scratches and scuffs on the car were handled quickly when we returned it, no arguments or haggling over damage fees, which was great. The car itself was in excellent condition and super easy to drive. The only thing I didn’t like is how complicated and slow their emergency assistance is. At one point we were being silly and didn’t realize the steering wheel was locked so the key wouldn’t turn. We called the roadside assistance number they provided and everything was in French. After a lot of effort we finally got to an English option, but it was just an automated system for submitting a request, and it took a full hour before anyone got back to us. On this point I really have to praise QEEQ: when we couldn’t get through to the local French support at all, QEEQ’s customer service stepped in, reached them, and gave us clear, helpful instructions on what to do.
