They gave us a same-class Toyota Proace with just over 1,500 km on it, basically a brand‑new car. We also took their full insurance, which made the whole experience a lot smoother and stress‑free.

Service was really nice. When I went to pick up the car I realized the Peugeot 208 they gave me didn’t have a luggage cover. I mentioned it to the staff and they switched me to an Opel for free. The back seat and trunk were both more spacious. Just be careful driving in and out of those old European garages—they’re pretty tight.

Pick-up and return were super easy, and the staff were really patient and helpful. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

I arrived at 7:30 and was third in line. It was my turn at 7:50, and I was assisted by someone who was quite unhelpful. Instead of providing me with the same category of vehicle as specified in the contract, they gave me a BMW 2 Series, which is a small car with a trunk that could only fit three 20-inch suitcases. I disagreed, but they claimed it was a similar category and there was no choice because they were about to finish work. After insisting strongly, they offered me a Mazda XC60 but demanded an extra 720 euros. I had to agree because it was already late, and there were four of us. Additionally, I had to pay a 1000-euro deposit along with another unclear charge of 286.6 euros. When returning the car, I arrived nine hours earlier with the intent to dispute the situation. QEEQ didn’t help me resolve this issue either. I showed AVIS my rental agreement and, during my trip, compared the Mazda to the BMW 2 Series while taking photos. I threatened to file a police report, and after insisting, they refunded the 720 euros. QEEQ later compensated me with 300 RMB. I wouldn’t recommend AVIS in France at all!

There are signs, but they’re not very clear. Just ask and you’ll figure it out.

But this time the drop-off location info was a mess, and I couldn’t get through on the phone after trying multiple times—the branch number was basically useless. That’s why I can’t give a full 5 stars.

There were no upselling tactics or unclear charges, and the deposit was refunded promptly. Since I'm not a skilled driver, I chose to purchase the full local insurance. The car was in great condition and easy to drive. One suggestion: avoid returning the car in downtown Paris at all costs—the traffic is absolutely terrible!
