Good

Overall pretty good! Perhaps because I arrived at night, the staff on duty were older, making communication a bit difficult. The vehicle performed well, was fuel-efficient, and had excellent cargo capacity. It carried one 30-inch, one 28-inch, two 26-inch, three 24-inch, and one 20-inch suitcase, along with five backpacks.

Satisfied

1. Initially, the agent did not accept our Chinese driver's license with the translation (provided by ZuzuCar). After consulting with a supervisor, they finally allowed us to pick up the car but warned that this was a one-time exception. 2. When returning the car, the driver of the first (empty) shuttle refused to let us board, telling us to wait for the next one. The second shuttle took a long time to arrive, and the driver was more interested in chatting with local passengers, driving slowly, causing us to miss our flight. We were stuck at the airport for 24 hours. 3. We were given a full tank of gas and told to return the car with a full tank. A week later, we received a billing notice saying we prepaid $70 for a tank of gas?! We returned it with a full tank!!! Not booking with them again.

Thrifty’s LAC office is closed due to covid. They didn’t say so on the reservation. Thrifty had a sign that said they were closed, but didn’t tell me I needed to go to Hertz to pick up the car. Better communication would be helpful!

Stop making me sign in every time I use the app! Remember me!!!!

Didn’t have a van so gave me a pickup or told me to drive to another location that might have a van at 11pm after a 12hr flight. Made our house move very difficult.
