There were a lot of people, and the process was very slow. We landed at 3 PM and waited 40 minutes for the shuttle to take us from T4 to T2. During this time, other companies' shuttles came 4 or 5 times. When we arrived at the rental point, there were 7 or 8 people in line in front of us. It took me a whole hour to get through the process, and then I had to wait another half hour outside to get the car. Because of this, we didn't reach our destination until 8 PM, missing the evening activities.

It's MEX car rental company. Very poor service. There was no one at the airport counter and no signs to contact or inform us. Had to ask several people and walked to the rental point ourselves. Got a car with a broken tail light, we complained about the safety and asked for a replacement. The staff said the broken tail light was no problem and it was the only car available. They offered an upgrade for an extra charge. We declined, Zuzuche intervened but to no avail. Finally, got another car, but the rear tire was flat, had to drive off to inflate it. Then they brought us another car of the same model. Took an hour to get the car and we were the only customers at the office. Rented many times with Zuzuche, this was the worst experience ever!!!

When I arrived at the store, there were no cars available. I had to wait for half an hour for one to be brought from outside, and there was only one option. The car was not provided with a full tank, making it difficult to estimate how much fuel to refill upon return to match the initial level.

The car rental company in Cancun didn't overly push selling insurance, but they required a $6000 deposit. Even though my credit card limit was sufficient, the authorization was repeatedly declined. I wanted to cancel the reservation and negotiate with another company on the spot, but as soon as I stepped outside, they called me back and the deposit suddenly dropped to $800!

Aside from the staff's persistence in promoting insurance, everything else was great. I had already purchased the highest level of insurance on the platform, but the staff kept recommending additional coverage, which was a bit annoying. In the end, I had to pay a deposit of over 50,000 pesos. Additionally, the car's fuel tank wasn't full when I picked it up, and I only noticed it after getting on the highway, which almost left me stranded due to low fuel. Fortunately, the issue was noted in the rental agreement, so technically there wasn't a problem. However, for those who aren't attentive or don't read the contract thoroughly, it could turn into a hidden pitfall. This can be especially troublesome for people who are not fluent in English.

Unexpectedly good. The pickup and drop-off processes were very professional. Unfortunately, I didn't get the model I originally reserved and received a Chevrolet Tracker that made rattling noises when starting. Luckily, the car didn't have any issues during the trip.

O aluguel do carro correu tudo bem e a empresa foi muito organizada o tempo tudo. O único inconveniente é em Cancun o seguro de proteção de terceiros é obrigatório e não está incluído no orçamento - ficou cerca de USD25 por dia, e isso fez com a minha reserva terminasse quase o dobro do que havia pago inicialmente.

It was easy to find the shuttle bus location after landing. The driver was enthusiastic and took us to the rental car hall. There you need to get a number from the machine first. The staff handling the paperwork were relatively slow, and we waited for at least half an hour. However, the car pickup process was very smooth, with no upselling, and we got the car quickly.

I had to wait 1.5 hours to pickup the car. There was only one person ahead of me in line. They did not have my rental at pickup time. They told me to come back in 4 hours. They told me to call customer service and it was closed. I could not get a refund. After waiting an hour, they said they had a car. The sales rep at the counter, did the hard sell for every possible additional coverage. They want you to sign everything before they show you a copy of anything.

Beware of the Hertz car rental at Cancun Airport—it’s a scam! I booked a seven-seater SUV (Suburban) three months in advance through the Zuzuche app, but when I picked up the car today, I was shocked. The promised vehicle turned into a downgraded economy five-seater MG, full of scratches and in poor condition. This is such a deceitful act by a supposedly reputable international company, dodging their obligation to provide a vehicle of the same class by canceling the original reservation just hours before pick-up!

When returning the car, I thought there was a small scratch, about the size of a fingernail. They said it would cost $97, which was fine since it was a pre-authorization. However, they charged $180 in the end. Also, it took almost an hour to process the car pickup, even though there was no queue.

Very bad service with forced extra charges! I already purchased full insurance from ZuzuCar, but upon arriving at the store, I was informed that I needed to pay an additional fee of over $90. Being abroad, I had no choice but to pay. After more than a month of complaints upon returning home, I was finally told by the car rental company that there is a small note at the bottom of the final payment page about extra charges from the store. It certainly wasn't there when I booked the car months ago. Now the platform has added a tiny note to avoid responsibility! Extremely frustrating! (I contacted ZuzuCar by phone at the store about this issue, and they said after some back-and-forth that they didn't know about this rule either and advised me to pay and verify upon returning to the country. They also mentioned that the full payment had not been transferred to the store yet, and I could appeal it after returning home.)

This company is just a small workshop, engaging in price fraud and reneging on agreements. They demand a very high deposit and force you to buy insurance that costs more than the rental itself.
