After almost an hour and with my persistence and the protection of my US driver's license, we finally got the car we had booked. I want to remind everyone to stand up for your rights when traveling abroad. I thought, why should I fear anything with my US driver's license and Chinese passport? And if necessary, I could contact the embassy. These small third-world countries shouldn't be so arrogant; I've seen these tricks before in China. Always fight for your rights.
