The vehicle condition was mediocre, the tire pressure warning light remained on and the store couldn’t fix it. There’s no CarPlay so I had to use phone navigation, and without a mount, it was very inconvenient. The service was acceptable, but not returning the car with a full tank makes control difficult.

The rental company name was different from the one during booking. There was no counter inside the airport. We followed the instructions to wait at the designated location but couldn’t find the rental company name on the order. It turned out they were using a different name. The rental company staff was already waiting at the specified location. We contacted QEEQ customer service for help. The customer service team responded promptly. Later, we learned the actual name of the rental company from other sources and finally met up with the staff.

After leaving the airport, there wasn't a separate Payless counter. Upon carefully checking the pickup details, I found out I needed to go to the Budget counter—they seem to be part of the same company. The shuttle bus took us to the pickup location, where we lined up to complete the registration process. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase additional insurance. After some routine procedures, I received a brand-new Kia equipped with CarPlay but no rearview camera or parking sensors. However, I adjusted quickly. Returning the car was also very convenient. Overall, a great experience—highly recommended!

The same company, in Mexico City there were no cars available, so they gave us a manual Nissan. If we wanted to upgrade to an SUV, it would cost extra. In Cancun, there were no cars either, but they gave us a Tiguan directly—top-notch experience!

The car rental company in Cancun didn't overly push selling insurance, but they required a $6000 deposit. Even though my credit card limit was sufficient, the authorization was repeatedly declined. I wanted to cancel the reservation and negotiate with another company on the spot, but as soon as I stepped outside, they called me back and the deposit suddenly dropped to $800!

Aside from the staff's persistence in promoting insurance, everything else was great. I had already purchased the highest level of insurance on the platform, but the staff kept recommending additional coverage, which was a bit annoying. In the end, I had to pay a deposit of over 50,000 pesos. Additionally, the car's fuel tank wasn't full when I picked it up, and I only noticed it after getting on the highway, which almost left me stranded due to low fuel. Fortunately, the issue was noted in the rental agreement, so technically there wasn't a problem. However, for those who aren't attentive or don't read the contract thoroughly, it could turn into a hidden pitfall. This can be especially troublesome for people who are not fluent in English.

Unexpectedly good. The pickup and drop-off processes were very professional. Unfortunately, I didn't get the model I originally reserved and received a Chevrolet Tracker that made rattling noises when starting. Luckily, the car didn't have any issues during the trip.

BUDGET REFUSED TO RENT ME THE CAR UNLESS i BOUGHT EXTRA INSURANCE EVEN THOUGH I HAD CHECKED AND CONFIRMED I HAD ENOUGH. ONCE I CALLED EASYRENTCARS THEY REFUSED TO TALK TO HIM AND AGREED TO RENT ME THE CAR.

It was easy to find the shuttle bus location after landing. The driver was enthusiastic and took us to the rental car hall. There you need to get a number from the machine first. The staff handling the paperwork were relatively slow, and we waited for at least half an hour. However, the car pickup process was very smooth, with no upselling, and we got the car quickly.

I had to wait 1.5 hours to pickup the car. There was only one person ahead of me in line. They did not have my rental at pickup time. They told me to come back in 4 hours. They told me to call customer service and it was closed. I could not get a refund. After waiting an hour, they said they had a car. The sales rep at the counter, did the hard sell for every possible additional coverage. They want you to sign everything before they show you a copy of anything.

The service attitude is quite good, not pushy with insurance, but they took a 25000 pesos pre-authorization... I still recommend big rental companies, because there's also Adobus locally, and locals might give incorrect directions to the pickup point.

The staff gave me the old address, and I couldn't find the right address using GPS when returning the car. The driver took me to the wrong terminal (my flight was 4O 904, and I told him it was T2, but he thought it should be T4), so I had to take a taxi to T2.
