Very Smooth!

A man, possibly of African descent, spoke unclearly and was extremely inefficient. We were the only customers, yet we had to wait 15 minutes before he slowly came over to assist us without even greeting us. He noticed we had purchased full insurance from the rental company but spent another 20 minutes trying to sell us a $139 SunPass. While processing our paperwork, he kept making personal phone calls, making it difficult to understand what he was saying. We arrived at 11:20, but only managed to get the car the following day.

The service was excellent. We swapped cars three times over 11 days, and all issues were resolved promptly.

The check-in was done without much waiting. However, although we had reserved a Jeep Grand Cherokee or a similar vehicle with automatic transmission, four doors, five seats, and air conditioning, the staff at the pickup point informed us that all Jeep Grand Cherokees had been recalled due to safety issues. The only options available at the time were a KIA Sorento, a Dodge model, and later on, a Toyota sedan. It was surprising that the Toyota sedan could be considered similar to a Jeep Grand Cherokee with automatic transmission. Finally, we opted for the KIA Sorento because it had a backup camera. Overall it was okay, but I feel Dollar is an average car rental company. I might consider Hertz next time. Additionally, the staff at the pickup location suggested that I don't have to return the car with a full tank because their fuel prices are cheap. However, they quoted 20.5 gallons, while I had only filled half the tank with 6 gallons, clearly overcharging me. So, make sure to pick up and return the car with a full tank! When we picked up the KIA, it surprisingly didn't have fuel, almost causing us trouble.

They spent valuable 2.5 hours within the 8 hours for which I rent a car. That prevent me from going to the place I originally planned to visit. They also make me buy whole gallon of gas only by the explanation that the unit price is cheeper than in the gas station nearby. I never choose Dollar.
